Isn't it better to convert that 737 instead?

Too much hassle for permit and issuance for converted units. If you want US Made specialized mission units better to get them new from the scratch

Well i got feeling sooner or later our Dassault Falcon would be converted into some special mission units
I doubt it tho, I think TNI AU’s Falcons are purely for dukungan angkutan VIP/VVIP. You can start to see ministers, Luhut for example, dapet dukungan angkutan udara using that.

Maybe better economically than using chartered private jets for ministers everywhere, every time like before.

How many Mirage 2000 MoD intended to buy? Only the Qataris?
For the time being the 12 ex-Qatari mirages. Emirati Mirages could come later. The Emirate M2000s is also evaluated by the Greeks and Moroccans and IIRC India as well. The Emiratis will only let go of the M2000s once they received their whole order of Rafale. Which is in early 2030s.

At least we have 1 squadron to fill "empty" unit like the 14th Squadron.
