Would Indonesia operate both KF-21 and KAAN? I could see some logic in getting a 5G aircraft to operate until KAAN could be delivered with TF35000 perhaps in the late 2030's but KF-21 is not 5G. With 4G Rafale on board, what is the interest in KF-21 - particularly since it uses US engines?

we can use IFX as tactical air strike capability, patrol aircraft, we need to replace our F 16, hawk 200. rafale for special air mission like SEAD, maritime strike..KAAN for air superiority, using US engines not a problems..since the beginning US materials are not a problem, but for IFX case and KAAN, our objective is to obtain know how building a fighter as a whole complete project.
