Egypt Rafale vs Su-35 mock BVR dogfights.

According to the article:

- Su-35 played a role of aggressor but its radar failed repeatedly
- Rafale Spectra Electronic Warfare Suit not only attacked but successfully jammed Su-35 radar multiple times making it blind in the sky and eventually shot downed by Rafale.

Interesting but I don't think that this would happen in a war where Russia is directly involved.
Russians are crazy good at EW.

They usually massively downgrade their export models.

I'm guessing that they would go with F-15EX considering how expensive Rafale is
If price is an issue, I think Rafale is not an option.

It's almost as expensive as F-35

Our already put contract on Rafale, so most likely this one is for F 15 EX and the number is 8 units

There is prolly a reason why that US$1.1 bil originally to get SU35 still there, it may give us an option if somehow Eagle II is out of our reach. Whether we put it back to its original intention, throw it to Rafale or even put it into brand new Viper, at least we know the option is there. The reality remain that both Rafale & Eagle II is not yet in the "official book" is something to consider both in a good & bad way.

One thing I agree with him is "Indonesian Ministry of Defence is focusing to find budget for Rafale & F-15 acquisition program".

I have some doubt about the F-15EX though. It's a brand-new plane that even USAAF had only received a handful of them. The waiting time will be going to be long. Long enough to get additional Rafale's to be delivered

Biden speech several days ago kinda indicated that both Democrats and Republicans are not interested in keeping the US as the world police anymore, unless their vital interest is compromised. Their focus will be entirely switched to the Pacific.

This should be a good news for us. Kinda expect more news regarding F-15EX (and other US made alutsista) coming our way.
