They both serve different purpose related to posture building and doctrine

We need those 50% trade off from Flankers deal badly now. Falcons won't help our economy.

If our economic situation is really as BAD as many people say, I wouldn't even say no to 36 Flankers (CAATSA permitted). That'd mean about $1.87 bil kick back to our economy.

And who will guarantee that we won't be slapped hard with a CAATSA ?? Let's be realistic here... we ain't western power's pet like Egypt nor economic powerhouse like india who spent their money on defence like no tomorrow !! ...

Get some life will you ... I had enough with all of these what's if and what's if isn't discussion ... nothing but a hot air and imagination running wild without substance .
Let's stick to the fact and more on the technical issues discussion ...
Or better yet !! ... Stay quiet until you have something more constructive , informative and meaningfull to add ...

Sigh ...

Did Egypt get slapped with caatsa?
They seems to be avoiding buying US fighter by getting Rafale and SU35.

However, there is still no word on the regularization of financial commitments by Indonesia, which was supposed to pay 20% of the cost of the program, but has so far only paid a quarter of that.

Are those the CH-4? I don't see any two large vertical fin on TNI-AU CH-4. Or its a newer CH-4 variant? Credit to Jenda Corp Production.
