Basically someone is molesting Philippines air space, could be just passing without permission or reconnaissance or try to test Philippines response capability.

Well yes, because stealth does not make your aircraft invisible. Reduced RCS results in smaller image on radar, and also reduce the range of detection. That's why I'm asking if we have radar with capability to detect it before it got to our land area.
Maybe just a way for US and Philippinos to send a masage to Chinese.

"Don't you dare send your recognition or stealth assets here! We have capability to detect them!"

Seems SCS and surrounding is seeing more and more this type of flights....reflecting the increasing important nature of the area from geo-politic and military stand point.

I can not believe that China will not want to do the same...i.e. sending flights for intelligence gathering

You all need to read those news again more carefully, both the Phil AF FA-50 intercept story and flying wing picture are different event altogether even though both were claimed to happened on the same day.

According to manillatimes FA-50 intercept story happened on thursday (September 2nd, 9:45 a.m) at Phil ADIZ heading north-east, 120 nautical miles off Bolinao, Pangasinan (above the sea north-west of Philippines) and that they never made visual contact (instrument only) with the said aircraft.

Flying wing picture was said to be taken at September 2nd, around 6:15 AM on Santa Magdalena, Sorsogon (inland, eastern part of Philippines) according to thedrive article.

That's around 800+ km apart from both location in straight line (through mainland Philippines). More than 1.600 km if you loop around Philippine island chain. Unless it's supersonic aircraft or Phil AF failed to detect them flying inside Philippine mainland I doubt that flying wing and intercept story were connected.

Though, there are no hard evidence (yet) that what the Phil AF detect and try to intercept were the flying wing aircraft in question.

So actually the Philippines air defense system is so messed up, with average speed of between 300 to 600 km/pH the aircraft in question can reach Manila and Made some Airshow there before going back safely

a wake up call for us especially on our north-western borders and GCI radars operations in the frontiers, which from what i know back in the days were not operating 24 hours due to shortage of diesel fuel logistics and supply

worryingly enough those flying wings operated at night time can deliver enough intelligence and getting out safely without us even detecting it an inch in our own airspace just because our radar unit only operates 18 hours a day

reminds me about the case of MH370 which wasn't picked up by our radar during its turn back to the presumed path to Indian ocean

"With the C-130 J type aircraft, I believe the Indonesian Air Force will be able to significantly increase its capabilities, especially in air transport operations," said Kasau while visiting the Lockheed Martin aircraft manufacturer, Bethesda, Maryland, United States. The presence of Kasau and his entourage at Lockheed Martin was especially welcomed by Rod Mclean, Vice President and General Manager for Lockheed Martin's Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Organization, and his entire staff.

Kasau said the C-130 Hercules aircraft had become the backbone of the Indonesian Air Force. In addition, he is often involved in every military operation, humanitarian aid and disaster management.

"Moreover, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian Air Force C-130 has an important role in its handling efforts, especially in distributing the Covid-19 vaccine and various medical equipment throughout Indonesia," said Kasau.

During his visit, Kasau also received an explanation about the development of the C-130J Hercules aircraft ordered by the Indonesian Air Force which is currently being produced at the aircraft factory. The rafters also saw firsthand, the C-130 J production line and the C-130J Hercules simulator and training facility.

"I believe this visit will provide a better understanding of the C-130 J and C-130 training, so that the Indonesian Air Force can improve its operational capabilities from these aircraft," he explained.

Accompanying the Kasau during the visit were the Danjen TNI Academy, Asintel Kasau, Asrena Kasau, Aslog Kasau, and Kadisaeroau, as well as the Indonesian Defense Attaché for the United States.

It includes Minst of trade and to some degree Foreign minister. Mins trade & mins finc yg gw dnger plg dpt tekanan on Thrump admin over caatsa. Not sure who said no now (if its true) as the condition are totally different since we got the GSP extension & Covid.

My own personal speculation would be; depends on whether we get permission to have Eagle II or not. Our AU still maintain heavy fighter doctrine air supperiority use afaik. Those Hercules deal was made when Matis was in charge of SoD as part of bargaining chip to have caatsa waiver, Im not sure if its still apply or not in todays current condition & with the new US administration.

RAT-31DL/M are expected to come here for few satrad maybe early 2022 (possibly placed under kosekhanudnas II jurisdiction), air force should amped up their fighter readiness especially the one that bear intercepting role, after those few sophisticated radar unit come operational, we may expect "seeing something that were previously unseen before".

the only long range surveillance AESA radar that we had right now are those danish weibel (i previously thought master T was AESA but it wasn't)
