There is a needs to have at least three new squadron of fighter in eastern Indonesia (two around Sulawesi, Papua and Maluku, one in El Tari), one squadron to replace those F5 Tiger in Java island, (that's Made it four squadron).

Meanwhile there is talks about to merge those 23 plus 7 Hawk 209/109 into one big squadron (with many flight wing available for rotation duty around the clock) the preferable big squadron is Hawk squadron in Rusmin Nurjadin, this Made another squadron is free. So it Made Squadron Khatulistiwa is free and may become cutting edge squadron for Capital City protector squadron.

There is also planing at least one permanent base and a squadron of fighter in Natuna. So for now i can see at least six squadron worth of fighter needs.

---------
If all of those planning materialized, we can see

42 Rafale
36 F15ID

Plus 6 new T/A 50 golden eagle to make the original T/A 50 squadron into big size squadron

There is also newly build units of aircraft

9 units C212i (several had delivered)
7 unit CL415/515 amphibious aircraft
10 units H225M (with two VIP helicopters)
5 units C130J/30 Hercules
2 units A400M Airbus
1 A330 Superjet VIP
I see, but if we putting all the new twin engine fighter outside java, its kinda mubazir for me, could that F16s in Magelang re-positioned to outside Java, let say to Kupang, so Java could have true mix of Rafale x Eagle 2

Whats the ideal number to support the future fleets? 4?

2 to four units is enough, there are not much fighter aircraft for now, considering South Korea or Turkey which had more than two hundreds fighter they only had four units wedgetail. My guess is only two needed, maybe three.

Maybe better to wait until actual realization for those F15EX, for those Rafale is there a need to established of training squadron, as i heard there is around 12 double seater version? Or they would spread them out on each squadron?

I think you misread his tweets. He was emphasizing the EPAWSS in the F-15ID DSCA. This would make the export of the F-15ID to Indonesia as the "Most Advanced Eagle" export to date.

Nah he is not wrong, F15ID have EPAWSS unlike F15SA n F15QA, F15ID is the most advanced F15 version outside US.

VIP , Boeing business jet is suitable for regional mobility (that's given need considered our country is very large, but A330 had more range and comfy. And can accomodate intercontinental direct flight

Of course, our current presidential plane need to refuel to reach Europe and US.

So its a true VIP plane? But MRTT can also be used as VIP transport although it won't be as "VIP" and luxurious as dedicated VIP plane.

In my opinion, leadership of country as big as Indonesia, and hopefully accompanied by large military and economy power. To have such a plane is very very reasonable and not considered as luxury, in modern era people face is important, how can we let the leadership in which over hundred million people of this country directly elected presenting our people and Nation face very poorly by using military refueling and Cargo aircraft.

Beside prestige, such aircraft had very comprehensive security devices, emergency system and that's one important feature can't be measure by money to protect our leader when doing their duty.
