So 13.8 billion for 36 F15EX variant (more advance than QA) for Indonesia is kind of make a sense?

I read about it somewhere that this 13.9 billion USD is the upper limit of the whole package. It probably can go lower after negotiation, although not by much. But even if it's not, considering that F-15ID is in the same class of what's being offered to Israel (F-15IA), I think it's still make sense somehow.

Of course, if we can negotiate to lower the price, then more power to it.

As first time user, i don't think it is wise idea to cut off many items they are proposed, especially maintenance and guarantee terms. There is reason why our Apache fleets is quite well maintained after delivery till now. What should be negotiated is counter trade deals to shore up economy cooperation, trade and their Investment here, so between both countries there is win win deals, to lesser the impact of the deals. Or even better offset by transfer of knowledge and technology including preferential in bilateral relationship.

I dont know if it can tame the dragon or not , but dragon will think multiple times before attacking and in case they attack they have to pay huge cost if they get counter attacked .

China has to put far more resources if they have to face Rafael ( both in India's and Indonesia's case) and it will be a difficult decision for them as they have turned every country around them as their enemies

I think its ready and should be shared with all neighbors which operates similar platforms , if such kind of discussions happen at highest level , I feel we will have far better synergy as far as defense is considered @Nilgiri @Zapper .

Astra can be used as air defense weapons to guard the critical installations and used on ships too

Sometimes I wonder both India and Indonesia are few of most populated countries , if we really work together we can solve a lot of common problems from defense to Health

Barak 8 is good there are reports that it even intercepted Russian Iskander during the Nagarno Karbak conflict . Regarding Brahmos , this platform is tested so many times that now its pretty refined product and there are multiple users ( all three forces in India and Phillipines Navy) the cost will come down
