I hope that the funds for the plan to buy used Mirage 2000 fighter jets from one of the Gulf countries will be replaced with plan B, namely the acquisition of F 16 from AMRG which will be upgraded to standard F 16 V or the planned purchase of F 15 EX replaced by F 15 C / D AMRG which is APG 82 RADAR
We need to give better slice than just modernizing old platform.

Those planes in AMARG are literally out of their serviceable life. Few countries already looked into the used F-16 market in the past decade and the key take away was that there are no used Falcons to be acquired, since it was such a hot commodity. South Korea for example also looked for a stop-gap fighter before the introduction of KF-21, and looked for used F-16s including those in AMARG as well as other planes like the F-18, but they were not able to find any usable ones for heavy duty service in the military. Recent used F-16 sales are limited to those to private companies like Top Aces which provide aggressor training roles to the US air force.

Prabowo to accept the Dassault Falcon 7x and 8x

By the way,
The Dassault Falcon 7X dan 8X is part of first batch Rafale contract,

Order for two brand-new Dassault Falcon 8X, the current Falcon 7X & 8X is received as interim solution for familiarization and training.

BMKG should have their own aircraft assets at least under Air Force management/BKO
Like right now is enough. US also like this for their cyber warfare and SIGINT. NSA, which operates under the freer Title 50 using personnel from US Cyber Command of Title 10 for their operation.

Because right now there is no ‘military operation’ against Russia for example which falls under the Title 10 like Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom, so the war against Russia (if exist) is under the Title 50 or NSA operation, that military also involved to ‘support’ the NSA. If military operation or Title 10, the NSA ‘support’ the military.

Even the director of the NSA is an active military serviceman.
