What is needed is better money management and more transparency. Rather than just "Hey this money is for next training", and after that, we don't know where the money goes, it have to be transparent where the money spent, even count each cent. By that, hopefully the finance management will be better and the money spend will be compacted and right to the target. But, don't forget to give our soldiers more salary.

And also, better we have Minister of Defense that curious of where the money goes. Rather than put the law enforcement (especially about money) in Military, put the law enforcement below the civilian command like in US, for example AFOSI is below the Department of Air Force rather than below the Chief of Staff of Air Force.

But, we also have to know, sometimes transparency is our enemy, especially when we are in some unwritten/de jure never exist operation (called it black budget or whatever). We asked the DPR money for something, but actually that "something" never happened. What you do is lied to the DPR and conceal the real intention where the money goes. Conceal where the money goes, don't be stupid.

if thing turns out to get bonker , i rather choose elang gurun and upgrade/maximize their capability to its fullest.

I see the logic in getting AMARG fighters but the problem with used fighters is the airframe lifespan. That's what makes the Austrian Eurofighters an attractive option as their flight hours are relatively low according to some sources.

Considering we do not have any other operationally ready fighter plane at least until 6 years to come, it's best to make do with both F-16 & Hawk
