#BringYourWifeToWork day.
Those US soldier must be thinking : they even have their own uniform huh?

Different culture at best.

Btw we can see The US Army soldier had a very solid organizational structure, high level of training in which encompassing all units of their without exception and uniform level of equipment.

No second tier units or the likes, all is same except Special Forces units in which must be best of the best just like other armies in the world. Hope we can be more like them in future and expo like this is very important to broad the mindset and experience of every soldier in which may become the next Army or armed Forces leadership.

Boeing already stopped the production for C-17. But maybe they will produce C-17 again in the future like what they do with C-130J.

Edit: oh no, C-130J and C-17 produced by different companies. Don't know if Boeing had any history of revive the production of any of their aircraft (at least with almost same airframe design) or not.

Army Chief sees off 100 personnel to US

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa saw off 100 Army personnel to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the United States, to take part in a joint exercise code-named Garuda Airborne. "This is our pride. Our colleagues are lucky to join the exercise in Fort Bragg, North California, which hosts the United States Army Special Operations Command," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday

The joint exercise will involve the United States Army Airborne 82nd Division. The exercise will last for 18 days. Thereafter, all participants will take part in joint parachuting in Baturaja, South Sumatra.

The Army personnel involved in the joint exercise bring with them the mission of fostering inter-personnel networking which will help them when they face a problem, General Andika said.

"Our colleagues should remember that your mission is networking. I want all of you to speak and not merely relying on the interpreter," he said.

The Indonesian Army under the leadership of General Perkasa has frequently held joint military exercises with other countries to build military relations.

The joint exercise with the US Army is not the first of its kind.

"Thank you, the US Army for the chance to hold the joint exercise code-named Garuda Airborne. This activity is important and I hope they will get experiences from one another," he said.

The 100 Army personnel comprise 88 commissioned officers, senior non-commissioned officers and lower-ranking non-commissioned officers from the Army's Reserve Strategic Command (Kostrad) and 11 personnel from regional military commands, Vice Commander of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 305/Tengorak Major Eko Damuna Prasetyo said.
