Expect more grants to come from the US, especially that ID has clearly tilted more and more with US FOIP foreign policy at least in military term.

With Thailand getting closer to China, the US has to do more with Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

In the past decade the US has provided radars , ATGMs, NVG, Harris secure radio as grants to these countries.

Old picture when members of Pussenkav made an evaluation to Indian Army armoured units, they are insane if they expect to export Arjun, in recent seminar, Pussenkav has an aspiration for further upgrade packages for existing Leopard 2 MBTs in our inventory including APS, etc also though not immidiate, we have an aspiration on acquiring more MBTs most likely another batch for Leopard 2 MBTs. Most economic and realistic way for us.

If Germany were to induce new type of MBT, then there will be chance for us to get their Leo2 seken.

I hope it won't affect medium tank acquisition.

There's an aspiration to fully upgrade whole Leopard 2 MBTs in The Army and to acquire another batch of Leopard 2 MBTs. Tempo mistook 2013 procurement; the procurement was 103 Leopard 2, 50 Marder 1A3 IFV, 10 utility Leopard and 1 Fahrschulpanzer for training purpose.

I've posted it previously, Pussenkav wants modernisation on terms of both quality such as armed drones, APS, auto cannon, etc but also quantity

Army should also looking for little bird family the likes of AH6, MD 500, their very small size but packed with necessary punch can be used for forward small recce units or even to do Spec OPS type operation (including counter terrorism OPS, counter Guerilla ops and the likes) with small size came small footprint in which heavier assault or attack helicopters like EC 725 or AH 64 E needed more, not to mention the small size let them to do rapid insertion and extraction in most areas, especially in jungle or urban setting.


Fennec in my opinion is still quite large compared to the small sized of MD 500 or little bird.

Event like Garuda Shield is very beneficial for our Armed Forces, even from the smallest details like how to conduct and organizing the logistic movement, do check and detail of article movement, prepare the necessary infrastruktur needed for the Armed Forces movement and so on.
