Infantry Battalion 113 Raider Jaya Sakti from Iskandar Muda Regional Command based in Pidie Aceh province, they are one of old units in Sumatra formed in 1946, right now they are under the command of Brigade infantry 25 Siwah. As Raider infantry they had around 750 personel or more and had seven companies strong.

Gatot got a lot of "benefit" from his efforts to bring in M113 and M109 ex Belgium although we got offer from US for their EDA including M113 and M109

Tell you so much about the mess in Indonesia procurement policy and process of weapons system acquisition, when a wolf crying wolf about corruption happened when themselves involved on much bigger scheme

The evaluation of the event, there is limited skill in English language, very easily detected of Army combat suit at night with NV system, elbow pad and knee pad is unnecessar, chemical mask is in dilapidated condition, lack of load capacity for Kartika loading bag. There is also notes on how the heavy usage of drones, jamming system and other EW system.

Indonesian Army under Andhika Perkasa had stated their intention and commitment to send more soldier to joint JRTC and other exchange joint exercise at all level and scenario.

A lot of it is just down to production capacity, can Indonesian suppliers create NIR treated clothing? Are they willing to fund studies on PPE gear?

There's a lot of factors involved when it comes to issued personal equipment. A lot of peer countries outsource development and production to private companies through government grants and funding. Is the TNI willing to do that?

Even down to that, they should provide NIR treated clothes to top tier units like Kostrad , Kopassus and Raider infantry units. That's alone is massive number though, as Kostrad had around 50,000 member today and Kopassus around 10,000. Hope they can had more proper answer, this will be long time task indeed as i remember they need around a decade more to replace the whole set of field combat uniform into DPM Woodland camo in medio late 80's into 90's for whole army.

The thing is, with the advent of automation and plethora of private companies, the TNI can outsource and fund of a lot of the production at cheaper costs and half the time than it did when it first transitioned to DPM.

The problem is in order to do this, they would need to stop with employing several different camouflage patterns and uniforms and rely on 1 pattern in general (or at the very least 1 per branch). And I genuinely don't see that until it hits them square on the head.

we certainly doesn't lack people who could understand english, but we're certainly lacking people who could speak english properly in a well understandable manner.
