But if we really take the front "window" on the conning tower as a hint, then there's atleas one other suitable 'candidate':

Soryu get? Or oyashio(seken) get?
Are they intentionally throwing breadcrumbs to the public, "100 days to maritime industry 4.0" + submarine production technology + japanese submarine (looks like soryu or oyashio conning tower, but if its not then they be trolling us good.

I think its Japanese sub, the conning tower its a bit large near the base and getting smaller to the top. Based on the pics then its Germany and Japanese sub, but the Japanese one looks similar.

I am hopeful this time Japanese will cut the influence of westerners in the submarines.
Soryu or Soryu v2 both are good. A few of them (3) could provide the deterrence navy needs.
1x Iver + 2x FREMM + 1x SoryuV2 + 1x Type-209/214 is a decent flotilla.

Yeah me too, I think the Japanese still have a chance competing against Euro sub, as Indonesia is a first export customer of SK submarine and LPD, as long as its budget friendly. I think its not easy for a country to export their submarine for the first time, and I think Indonesia don't mind about becoming first export customer.

Too many efforts & expenses for negligible gain, it's not worth it.

🇮🇩 Jarhead clan is only allowed to operate 8Km of the coastal baseline. Further inland is the Army domain. Which is why BMP-3F is the most suitable option.
Yup ... Too much hassle . But , man still can dream no ... 😂😂

China would only grow larger . Sooner or later those ridiculous norms are going to be broken and twisted when shits are starting to get real ...
How about a well matured 3.0 and 3.1 first?

PS: The shipyard i work with has 6x to 10x work load of PT. PAL, and there aren't many people with C- title as much as this. :) and they can start by reducing their number to first adapt into 4.0
Don't buy that bullshit and hypes . Action speak louder than words . Unless they totally overhauled their old top management i don't put much of my stocks on them ...
The planning and dreams were always good it was the implementation process that always come into the question ..

Sigh ...

Let's say in other words, if Indonesia wants certain techs and capabilities there is nobody out there providing it as much as Japanese do.

1 Iver + 2 ASW FREMM + 2 FFM 30 + Soryu + u 209/214 per fleet would be more than enough to provide all around encompassing deterrence

And that's would be supplanted by Navy OPV/Corvettes/light Frigate
