Hemm......
I wonder what will they add in those refurbished other than digital control and radios. RCWS, nahh that to expensive.

Can we ask Murice to donate their M2 from WW2, Korean, Vietnam era too? 😁
But, Forget about accuracy wkwk

Give that 61 - k back to moseum and start buying coldwar era MANPADS, Igla like maybe.

American still have a lot of M109 155 mm howitzer lying in their dessert, even they offered the Malaysian and Malaysia just need to cash out some money to refurbish them....

South Korean have Chiron or better follow the Army footstep and get Starstreak, they are currently one of the best out there, just put the launcher above any 4X4 double cabs SUV, and you would get poorman mobile AA system.

Well, if that stuff can be bought and give to Army i think it's will booster up their ranks. But if it was for Marine i think they will be have hard time to deploy it. 🤔 can we just use LST Lada to make it ashore ?

What i try to say here, what is best for marine corps artillery Bat? Towed or self propelled one. Last time we heard rumor that Marine want to buy wheeled 155 gun from Europe

This one also good, but sadly sokor didn't make the over shoulder one.
Starstreak
Few weeks ago i've read that the user of Starstreak is prone to death since must guide the munition until last impact. But Britons offer low speed light weight one with IR homing called martlet, i think that stuff also good.

Also, with advances in technology, there is a third option that offers a middle ground: rubber tack
Did you mean rubber track? It's still counted as tracked, no?

If it's about the method of amphibious mobility, aside from tracked or wheeled, there's only one other that I can think of: hovercraft.

except starstreak flew very fast

or getting m777 should be within consideration, they are kinda like the ultimate form of towed howitzer today.

Talking about howitzer (105 & 155)

How do the army and marine corps still planning to upgrade their arsenal soon? Especially with the former one as there has been no follow-up purchases of SK-made howitzers

The Army is in process to acquire new artillery tubes ( new towed howitzer in 155 mm class) and also including MLRS, also they would get short range ballistic Missiles.

The Marines still obscure in the tube artillery, but they would get new MLRS for sure.
