other than this helos debate, the most insane case were while most of Medium Lift Helos of Indonesian uses H22M family tech tree, the Army all of sudden want to acquire UH-60 which in this case didn't make any sense. since they are both have same capability. This is Indonesia. If there are European alternatives, choose the European. FMS is only for cool stuff that European doesn’t have (and they think that’s good) lol

This kind of intel is possibly shared between India and US because of BECA. To ASEAN maybe included in ASEAN-US meeting about weeks ago? Or maybe shared by Singapore to the other ASEAN countries. No word spoken by Indonesian officialCan we access it?

Navy wants mid life upgrades for the FPB-57, Sigma 9013 and F2000, understandable....but what's with the 1st batch KCR-60 ? they wanna do mid life upgrade already ? LOL

No.we lacks human resources
More fundamental than that, actually. It's about the widespread views of looking down on research - or long time/strategic views and planning - to prioritize short-term gains instead. Even in this forum, you can easily spot replies that pooh-pooh any opinion arguing for long term planning and strategic research and to start trying designing and developing defense technology on our own, delivered completely with reasons such as "we don't need unproven systems for our troops" or the likes.money for research

Hell, how can a system be proven if there's not even a slight interest to start developing, testing, producing, deploying, and receiving feedback from the users themselves?
But yeah, the irony is lost in those kinds of replies since it's quite impossible to remain objective when one already has a vested interest behind their words.
Unless they want to do heavy maintenance by drilling some hole in superstructure and have enough time to do wiring and weapon integration then it will be OK.Will we add VLS for SAM this time
USAF: “F*ck SOE. We doing business with oligarch capitalist MICs. Just give the RnD budget and personnels like Paul Kaminski to the oligarch capitalists”BUMN being BUMN with shitty management as usual.
As they said, BUMN is a corporate with government institution flavor.
And not fit for the ship hull, Moroccan 9813 vs KRi9113It's just not gonna fit the budget.
If TNI & PT PAL amended the contract for the length of Arrowhead 140 from 143 m to 138-140 m of the original design, can the original design accommodate the weapon specs that PT PAL has released a few months ago?
