they had all the resources and money yet it's feels like they've got a curse that hinder their defence program, take a look at their submarine program that are still "luntang lantung", i guess it has something to do with their current admin, the previous regime hobart and F-35 program are going well.

One can only imagine the real size of the T83 once built. Consider the Type 26 'frigate' is as large as a Burke destroyer.

Otoh, Indonesia even when the FREMM and Arrows are inducted will once again lacking in the size (and prolly punch) of its surface ship compared to their contemporary navies.

208 missile cells from 3 AWDs and 8 ANZACs. Still a whole lot more than us with 72 cells and only 24 cells in the Sigma is fitted.

Even if all plan regarding the 2 AH140 and 6 FREMM (with 16 VLS) we have like 248 cells on the whole fleet combined . Absolutely tiny compared to major navies in Pacific theater at that timeframe (late 20s, early 30s).

Japan will comission 2x ASEV with 128 VLS each + 2 new DDG (96 VLS each) based on Maya DDG
China will continue building even more Type 55A (112 VLS) and 54B (rumored 48 VLS)
USA will add like 5-6 Burke's and possibly 2-3 Constellations adding to 10K VLS across the fleet
Australia with 9x Hunter FFG (32 VLS) and the Type 83.
Even Singapore will have a deeper magazine than ours.

You can't have and maintain those Destroyer and AAW Frigate with such meagre Tiny Defense budget, increasing the budget. Hold the increasing of personal (especially the number of territorial development units like Babinsa of KOREM and Koramil) and put more resource into development of C4ISR system and Arsenal and firepower!!!

7. Hidden Compartmen, but for ropes,,, you might never realized after submarine leave the port, the ropes are gone. So where do they store the mooring ropes. And here is the answer

8. Electronic Suit
ID Navy Nagapasa class is equipped with ELAC Nautik Kaleidoscope sonar suite, it's considered descent, lengkap tapi ngga yang paling lengkap, jadi cukup aja

and for the part placement is the quite the same with another sister from another navy that uses another vendor

but here is one that annoys me, the flank array sonar -FAS-, usually, FAS is looked like this

but not on this suite, according to ELAC, the FAS is looked like this

well i think it's alright, just there is no other information about it, what i want to say is, the FAS equipment is quite different in shape, but i suppose they all do the same purposes

9. The Torpedo Room
On this type of submarine, torpedo room is the spacious room inside the hull, why? because it supposed to be become the Torpedo storage room, if you see on the part 1 cutaway pict, you could see torpedo there, but, i just realized that cutaway pict doesn't always accurate, since Type 209 series has so many here and there modification specs according to each navy. What you will see on the torpedo room is not a torpedo, but rather

a table

that is Brazilian Type 209 1400, and ours are the same

*what you see on the torpedo tubes is not a censor, it just a white table that being stored

Because the Crew Compartment is located right behind the Torpedo room without any divider or penyekat , so the Torpedo Room is becomes one with the Crew Compartment.

And here is the question, according to the specs, you may read on wikipedia and other source, Type 209 1400 can carry 14 Torpedoes, 8 inside the Torpedo Tubes, and 6 stored. AND you should also understand, that the average 533mm/21" Torpedo is 6 meter long and 1.5 Tons heavy

And If you still wondering, there must be some room underneath the deck, yes they are, but not for storing munition, but for batteries

Also funfact, the submarine doesn't always carry the Torpedo in the Torpedo tubes all times, especially if there is peace time, and Submarine like Kilo, Type 212, Scorpene, Virginia, Astute and the other who had Torpedo storage room too

I think Korea offered (ID/PH)? a submarine model that is bigger than nagapasa class and it is equipped with TAS.

HOW ON EARTH WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO FIT THOSE TORPEDOES ON THE TORPEDO ROOM

So here comes my conclusion, The Torpedo Room, is just a Torpedo Room, uses for controlling, checking the torpedo tubes and other stuff, NOT a Torpedo Storage Room.

TRUE that this sub can carry 8 Torpedoes, because they will be fitted to the 8 Torpedo Tubes available, but not so much for the rest of 6 Spare Torpedoes

can complement about 12-16 crew can do the recess while the other is doing their shift. This kind of layout is enough for the 32+ crew onboard as they all don't need to have their own 32 bunk because half or 2/3 of them is on their shift

This explanation is perfectly match the specification.

Torpedo room is where torpedo tubes are accessed within the hull (the most forward compartment), the same spot is also used for beds or sometimes recreational purposes. Depending on submarine's available space, additional torpedoes stored there sometimes on racks, sometimes below the deck. The additional numbers do not exceed number of torpedo tubes (in general practice). This comes with a cost, it is a tedious procedure to transfer these inconveniently stored torpedoes into the tubes, regardles of crew experience it takes a long time and a lot of effort.

Larger submarines (scorpene) have dedicated torpedo storage room, which has automated torpedo transfer system, if not automated a manual system, that allows transfer of conveniently stored torpedoes from rack to tubes without dismantling anything above the deck. Newer submarines have automated systems with identifiable torpedo type that makes selection and transfer as easy as some clicks.
