Implementation of the Harbor Acceptance Test (HAT) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system for the Code Allocation Distribution Unit (CADU) Component LTR 400 Transponder Series, KCR 60 M (4th ship) which functions as a Transmitter (Sender) signal code to other ships to know as friend or foe.

If i recall, Tarakan-class tanker cost us around Rp.120 miliar, that is about $8 Million.

Jakarta(12/6), Pelaksanaan Pembukaan Satgas FFBNW OPV oleh Kapuslaik Kemhan Marsekal Pertama TNI Mohammad Yani Rudiansyah, S.T., S.I.P pada Hari Senin Tanggal 12 juni 2023 bertempat di Ruang Rapat Puslaik Kemhan yang berada di Lantai 10 Gedung Jenderal A.H. Nasution kantor Kementerian Pertahanan RI Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat No. 13 – 14 Jakarta Pusat. Pembekalan Satgas FFBNW OPV di hadiri undangan dari Perwakilan Pusalpalhan, Dismatal, Dissenlekal, Dislaikmatal, Bidmatra Laut Pusalpahan, Class LR Indonesia dan perwakilan dari International Outsourcing Services Ple, Nara Sumber serta dihadiri oleh Tim Satgas Berjumlah 6 Orang yaitu Dansatgas, Pawas Platform, Pawas Senkomlek, Paminlog, Paset dan Baset. Pembekalan Satgas FFBNW OPB ini dilaksanakan di Puslaik Kemhan selama 5 hari diawali pembukaan pembekalan tanggal 12 Juni 2023 dan selesai tanggal 16 Juni 2023.



Pengadaan FFBNW OPV merupakan suatu pekerjaan pengadaan sewaco yang selanjutnya diikuti program instalasi sistem sensor dan senjata sesuai kebutuhan untuk menyiapkan alutsista yang siap operasional dan siap tempur dalam rangka menjaga kedaulatan NKRI. Untuk mencapai kondisi personel yang profesional dalam melaksanakan kegiatan satgas, perlu adanya pembekalan sebelum melaksanakan tugas dilapangan dengan harapan mampu meningkatkan pengawasan agar pekerjaan FFBNW OPV yang dilakukan tepat mutu, tepat waktu dan sesuai spesifikasi teknis yang diinginkan TNI Angkatan Laut, satgas perlu menciptakan suatu kondisi yang kondusif, memiliki keberanian dan ketegasan sesuai dengan aturan dalam proses pengawasan pekerjaan FFBNW OPV sehingga tugas dan tanggung jawab yang diemban dapat dilaksanakan dengan benar dan profesional.

Just got interesting stuff from 2020 ID Navy Cakrawala Magazine, stated that apparantly, the Landing Platform Dock can't function to it's maximum capability during Amphibious Operation, the helicopter can't land on deck due to steep angle of tilting position of the ship to create a wet dock for docking/undocking the amphibious vehicle.

The reason why our LPD have a well deck is to let the LCU float so it will be able to enter and exit from the LPD, and also it will allow amphibious vehicle that is on the water to enter the ship easily because they just need to enter the flooded well deck then goes to the ramp and go straight to vehicle storage area.

I am not sure if the rear gerbang can hold the weight of the vehicle if the vehicle jump from it.

The tilting issue somehow can be solved with several adjustments:
• Strengthen the rear ramp door.
• Remove the LCU

During amphibious operation, select 1 or more LPD that will carry helicopter and remove its LCU inside so it will only carry amphibious vehicles and helicopter. When the mission starts lower the ramp door, and let the amphibious vehicles charges out at full speed and jump from the ramp door(need high speed so when it hit the water the angle won't be too steep and nose dive to the water), and the helicopter can be deployed at the same time without any tilting issue.
