Like 'new' as in new aka gress? Right?

I mean previously its reported that TNI are looking for interim submarine. Interim = seken, quick to obtain.

(Puspen TNI) KRI Diponegoro-365 yang saat ini tergabung dalam Satgas Maritime Task Force (MTF) TNI Konga XXVIII-O/UNIFIL, melaksanakan Gunnery Exercise (GUNNEX) atau latihan penembakan guna mempertahankan kesiapsiagaan tempur di Zona Barbara, Laut Mediterania, Lebanon pada Selasa (21/05/2024).

Gunnex dilaksanakan sebanyak 4 sesi yaitu penembakan Meriam OSRG 76 mm dengan metode remote Pusat Informasi Tempur (PIT) dan metode manual dari Target Designated Sight (TDS), penembakan Mitraliur Vector G2 20 mm kanan dan kiri, dilanjutkan dengan penembakan SKWS Terma Decoy secara remote PIT dan manual (CU anjungan) sebagai simulasi menetralisir ancaman incoming missile, serta diakhiri dengan penembakan sniper tipe AX 7,62 mm dalam skenario menghadapi ancaman asimetris.

Naval News received additional explanations that the first FDI for Indonesia could be constructed in France in 36 months and the subsequent FDI will be built locally by Indonesia’s state-owned shipbuilder, PT PAL Indonesia. However, similar to the Scorpène Evolved, France is also open to the idea of full local production from the first ship.

36 months, if its made in France, quite bold offers, TNI AL need to fulfill the MEF tho, might be a good choice.
