For Indonesia case they need a lot of confidence to beat FFM 30 on the next tender programme
Honestly Am trully shocking to hear every inch about Indonesia getting Tier One weaponery.
Jokes aside, if we built this variant in sufficiently large quantity, that will be:

MENGERIKAN!!! BIKIN TNI AMERIKA CINA KETAR KETIR!!! for real.
I mean, imagine a carrier battle group from a certain nation passing through one of our main straits or major sea lanes when suddenly their radar pick up hundreds of anti-ship missiles heading toward them from all direction... While they might still not enought to sink the aircraft carrier, at the very least some of her escorts will be seriously damaged from this kind of attack.

And this is sounds like the "oblique order" tactic that Napoleon was used against the much larger enemies division. Just type "oblique order" in youtube to see how it's workP r e c i s e l y
With additional benefits, or drawbacks - depending on how you see it - that we have numerous sea lanes where we can either pick the fight, or will have to spread those forces thin to guard them all.

True that. But I never meant to write something like "putting all of our eggs in one basket".Boats without decent air defense system Will be obliterated by swarm of air launched Missiles/rocket from Helicopters or Aircraft far away from the position of Frigates or Destroyer

It's simply because to have enough detterence, such small and fast boats need to be built in large numbers and perhaps to let the Navy or Marine corps operate them instead of the Army for that scenario I mentioned earlier.
And if it is combined with a swarm Underwater Unmanned Vessel a.k.a midget to add the blow by launching their torpedos from nowhere, it will be serious chaos. But this UUV proposed by PT PAL's new director is still far from reality by the way.Jokes aside, if we built this variant in sufficiently large quantity, that will be:

Imho DPN, BTO, and REM are still relatively new and they will serve until at least next decade. The Parchims class on the other hand needs to be replaced soon.how i wish we can replace all those parchims, DPN and BTO with REM type vessels.
i heard so much problem enroached this british type 45, but rarely heard with it's french and italians counterpart (Orizzonte / Andrea doria). And this is a very interesting documentary of life onboard the HMS Duncan (Type 45)

that might be the case but it is apparent that the type-45 suffered from engine issue (fatal design flaw) which are unfound on its sister (orizonte) as they use different engine.Linguistic barrier.
