I think we got barrage of alutsista related news now

Article said 214 not 212.

The article is copying the Janes report from early march (link below). Some part also copied from Wikipedia page.

This is worse source than the canteen guard and students BS post.

You might want to ban GlobalDefenceCorp article from this forum.

Hoa thats quite large, larger than SB-R. will it be using Li on battery or nuclear reactor?
well this is their claim, no genset nor AIP module, full Li-Ion battery bank powered.

"As a fully electric submarine, the SMX31E has no diesel generators to charge the batteries at sea, and no AIP module either. It carry no fuel, as its batteries generate enough energy for more than 60 days of operations at 5 knots, and more than 30 days at 8 knots. The SMX31E is then able to conducts submerged missions for as long as today’s nuclear submarine."

If Indonesia can get MDCN and using VLS on top of that, that's really big jump in Navy attack capability
I am still hoping the VLS for SSM in AH140 will use this kind of missile.
Missile De Croissant Naval.

If we go for ssk with vls we need aip or li Ion tech for the longer endurance

for PPA there's no confirmation that they would use MdCN also that ship use A50 VLS, for DDx it's still in concept stages.
Hoo i see, i think they'll put a70 on heavy config ppa. And about ddx, yes its still a concept, their navy eyeing for land strike capabilities
