And how much does our KCR cost?
well according to this news kcr 5 and 6 costs Rp 1,66 trillion rupiah

If we calculate the idr to dollar exchange rate to roughly $1 = Rp14.000

so Rp 1,66 trillion will be around $114 million, thats for two ship, and each about $57mln

$57 mln for each batch 3 ship, in which also include system weapon control

i hope thats help you to guestimate the cost of that ship

Looks like a Makassar Class LPD to me. We can see the gun looks very high up to the cars down below. Afaik the new batch of KCR-60 will be using western CMS, radar and weapons. Cmiiw.

What is with the navy insistance on manned auto cannon instead of remote controlled one ?
- They don't intend to use the ship above sea state 3 or in bad weather conditions.

- They are expecting it to be developed locally and then to patch all manned guns spots with those stabilized turrets.

Tbh, this guns are comparably "better" than the other manual 20mm gun in navy inventory though, it at least has some built-in EO fire control system on each gun, and it also being used by quite a lot of ship: KRI Semarang, All of Sampari-class, KRI Bontang, on some Pari-class, on modernized Fatahillah-class, on KRI Sultan Iskandar Muda and also some on Parchim-class.

It this just me or not...
those AK-630 is kinda miss placed...

too many covered / blocked AOA
agreed, should have been better if they are provided with VL missile canister in the back section (like barak 1 or smaller VL based missile) or just a minelayer.

so its an "Enhanced manually operated gun", kinda weird why yugoimport provide this kind of system an not just developed a fully optional Remote - Manually controlled weapon system.

Cheaper options would be Norway Skjold ($125 mil) and Swedish Visby ($190 mil).
If you wanted cheaper opv/fac why not consider the taiwanese tuo chiang class, 60m long, 685 tonnage, 16 ashm, 76mm cannon, phalank, 45 knot speed, 41 sailor, 2x3 torpedo launcher, can operate at sea state 7, 2000nm range and only 72m $ price, just modified it to carry only 8 ashm and put merad aa missile

I think that price excludes some of the systems. Might be even excluding the weapon systems and CMS in whole.
