So yesterday was 'delivery ceremony' not 'commissioning ceremony'? Or for TNI AL both terms are interchangeable?
I have the same question too.
It seems to me now that the ambiguous term of "delivery" is being used since KRI Golok still hasn't fully armed yet - just a manually operated cannon for show - with no known plan of when it will be fully equipped.

Like the idea put in like this boat
hope next SSV or LPD use the same concept with tank boat or X38

Our LPD and Philippines SSV have small boat / LCU although without cabin/bridge like this one.

Not sure if it will work putting antasena on LPD, how about modifying current LCU design, cover the top then put bridge and turret on it like antasena.

I have the same question too.

When in Indonesia, do as Indonesian do. That is just how it is, just accept it.
The term PKR is also ambiguous, and I just accept that.

Don't forget that most likely Antasena has higher maintenance and resupply need (including to resupply the ammo) than an LCU----> easier to perform in well deck (IMO)

At least they could get a RCWS though, but consider this one as a "prototype", although it is not exactly one. They will test this through their way of operation.

Sea trials don't cover all needs of a Navy to see efficiency of newer hulls.

Just a placeholder. They wouldn't want to receive it bare-handed. I hope the real weaponry would be stealth 40 or 57 mm.
Above the bridge? Is there enough room for that?
In front of the bridge I don't see any place to mount weapon.

that's actually a good presentation for our Makassar class derivative design, those ambulance vessels some other times can be reconfigured as USV, and our Makassar can also have derivative role as USV mothership like the singaporean MRCV.

Handover ceremony video of KRI Golok-688 and KRI dr. Wahidin Soedirohusodo-991.

^^ Looks like the 20mm gun on the KRI Golok is the manual operated Yugoimport Naval AD M71/08.

or let's hope they've come out with much more better design with much more better space management for weapon placement, Klewang with more teeth than KCR-60 might've been welcomed by our netizen.

looks like oerlikon millennium won't fit in there
what a disappointment that they put that gun in such a great ship

According to this article a MHI sales team have been in Jakarta since last year.

Excerpts.

"The same applies to a separate deal with Japan, which had a sales team ensconced in Jakarta for much of last year seeking to sell the Indonesians eight stealthy Mogami-class multi-mission frigates at an overall cost of $3.6 billion.

Under a provisional plan, Mitsubishi and Mitsui were to deliver four of the 5,000-tonne vessels, beginning in late 2023, and for the other four to be built by PAL in what would have been the biggest-ever arms deal between the two countries."

If we buy 30FFM and there is plan to build it in Indonesia, I think that Indonesia don't need to rush about the deal and can take it slowly, AH140 and FREMM is still in queue to be build in PAL facility, considering that these 3 ship is quite large I wonder if PAL can build it in paralel (bener2 dibangun bareng2 jejer2an gak nyicil dulu nunggu yang 1 selese.)

Even if they have been courting us for years there is still possibility the deal won't push through.
