KSS-III : Jang Bogo III fully domestic design

I guess that one KSS-I is going to replace the 402. If it's true, does the three Jang Bogo sub contract will be amend to only one sub? Or it's going to be a different procurment?

If this presentation is valid (the "penugasan" part) then surely there's financial green light (PSP) already for both FREMM (2) and Mogami (4).

Unless this slide is just another "dream scenario".

Terlalu ngawur ini, frigate gak cuma ujuk2 patroli laut atau cuma menenggelamkan kapal lain tpi punya berbagai kegunaan, diantaranya sebagai payung udara yg bisa dipindahkan kemana saja dilingkup 70% wilayah Indonesia, Fremm juga punya capability tracking ballistic missile, tentunya merupakan peran yg sangat penting dan strategis, dan jangan lupa frigate seperti Fremm juga mempunyai kemampuan ASW yg sangat bagus sebagai detektor kapal selam.

Does our Navy really project themself as Anti TBM force?

Which TBM could realistically be fired towards Indonesia ? if X country wanted to bombard us with ballistic missile they'll need SRBM as bare minimum. Unless of course, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore start fielding ballistic missile.

From Vietnam to the Natuna is around 700km, from Myanmar to Banda Aceh is around 670km, from Christmas island (AUS) to Jakarta is around 500km, from Darwin to Merauke is 1100km, from Davao to Manado is 600+km.

From those country only Vietnam and Myanmar has ballistic and even their longest range BM (Hwasong 6) can't even reach Natuna or Banda Aceh.
