Yes, if the boat already located then send DSRV but if we are still in the searching phase then better to use side-scan sonar. Side-scan sonar is looks like a torpedo and towed by the host ship, so the operating depth can be adjusted.

That's how ocean infinity able to found Argentine sunken sub (depth : about 800 m), even the ship can map southern indian ocean in the seach of MH370 (depth: few km).

Effective range? Ulur kabelnya biar bisa lebih dalem.
Another submarine hasn't been sent there for nothing (i presume it is on the way), it is one of the best way to localize the submarine using passive receivers. If crew is alive they will be tapping to the hull, it is better if other surface vessels are silent so that another submarine can hear them.

nobody in local media has slightest technical or operational knowledge of a submarine.. if you want, you can get interviewed

oh and while we are on the topic of submarine rescue, personally, I would prefer us to do RnD on DSRV rather than midget subs. At least the role and benefit are much clearer
yes just like @NEKO said above, it would be expensive to do RnD on DSRV alone.
better buy the system from company like james fisher and sons and got TOT from them, they already specialized on deep sea operation and their system already proven and operated by much of the world navy.

even all of the sub rescue system that coming to help indonesia were made from them

That is bad. I don't think they brought enough candles to produce oxygen
I am sure they can ration it and squeeze the endurance as long as possible. The matter is finding sub as soon as possible and getting in contact with the crew.

Technically risky and $ risky.
Suddenly developing DSRV for very deep operation and after spending lots of money probably would only purchase 1 or 2, and I dont think it will success on international market.
JFD has aided some countries to build their own DSRV, it is rather they design it and the customer country modifies some parts like secure hatches etc. It is not that expensive too, one DSRV is sufficient.

Nobody makes DSRV from scratch there are a few builders experienced on that. The rest is product of these countries made locally or slightly modified. Not a big cost at all granting what it provides.

Crew + crew under training + experts costs at least a billion $. Not yet accounting for human life and prestige.

And how can one stating that the location has not been found yet at the same time able to determine the depth❓
it was from different sources,
1 states that the sub has not yet to be found,
the other sources states that
if the sub exceeds more than 500 meters, the hull will no longer able to resist the depth preassure

Even without TOT is fine.

I am sure they can ration it and squeeze the endurance as long as possible. The matter is finding sub as soon as possible and getting in contact with the crew.
They can use scrubber to remove Co2 probably there is several canister of it onboard, but during kursk accident there is a possibility that the surviving crews got killed because of fire created by the scrubber, its getting mixed with salt water or something and during priz accident the crews survived because of the scrubber, it make them survive long enough until getting rescued.

It can. If said submarine is carrying deep sea rescue vessel, like this:

still, the best way to rescue the sailor aboard the sub is using dsrv, either it deployed from the surface ship, or a submarine one as a mother ship

Unfortunately, as far as my knowledge goes, we don't have such rescue vessel.

If its shallow and don't need DSRV then why don't the crew just immediately reach the surface? Its not like other sub have decompression chamber and complex and complete health facility.

3.10. ABILITY OF THE DISSUB TO SIGNAL HER POSITION
a. The crew of a DISSUB may be able to indicate her position by one or more of the following methods:
1. Releasing one or two indicator buoys.
2. Firing Submarine Launched One Way Transmission (SLOT) buoys which transmit on VHF JEZEBEL Channels 25, 27, 29 or 31.
3. Firing an expendable communications buoy (ECB) or SEPIRB, which will transmit a SARBE DF beacon.
4. Firing yellow or white smoke candles or red or green grenades. The smoke candles may have fluorescent dye containers attached, which produce patches of green dye in the water, and may also carry a message
5. Transmitting her name in voice plain language and/or in SST mode on the UWT.
6. Transmitting on sonar, echo sounder, or by using emergency location beacons.
7. Hull tapping.
8. Releasing fuel or lubricating oil.
9. Switching on navigation or other underwater lights


They shouldn't have mentioned about the oil spill there are at least 10 other reasons i can list right now for the cause of oil spill.
Since they haven't reported and acoustical anomaly, indicating an explosion or implosion -bubble rise, it means the chances are still high for them to be safe.

The current world record for free diving is 214 meters and it can only be achieved through rigorous training which is not everyone's forte. From that depth, one must pause several times during surfacing to allow the nitrogen build-up inside blood vessels to dissipate first before continue. If the diver surfaced too fast, he / she risks decompression sickness which can be fatal.

I have talked with TNI-AL divers on several ocassions. If memory serves me right, they told me that it's not a simple task to surface from 'just' 50 meter depth even with diving equipments.
