If you watch closely you will see KRI Dipenogoro hoist Romeo flag. Romeo flag is four sets of signals are used for underway replenishment at sea.the process can be fuel replenishment, ammunition, and other supplies.
The wire you see on KRI dipenogoro is for replanisment at sea. Its different from the one that used for towing the RHIB.
And also two days ago HMAS ballarat and HMAS sirius doing RAS operation while doing passex with KRI dipenogoro.

If i recall correctly you wouldn't see such a long strings on receiver side of RAS, the guide tether, delivery pipe is coming from the source and mounted on receiver.

Something to ponder, there is someone trying to do evolutionary way to do VBSS excercise

If they can Made a more smooth engine, more practical way to guide it (like using HUD device on the helmet and connect it to your brain nerve) and put all the package into exoskeleton armor combat suit... At least red eyes era is not too far off

They should replace the whole package with Stark miniaturized Arc reactor + Repulsor tech. And backloading the flight control over to the Stark Cloud infrastructure(y)

Indonesia sets target to have 10 submarines by 2029

Parliament member says target depends on country's financial condition, as pandemic wreaks havoc on government's budget

Indonesia sets target to have 10 submarines by 2029

JAKARTA, Indonesia

An Indonesian parliamentarian said on Friday that the country set a target to have ten submarines for the Indonesian Navy by 2029.

According to parliament member Dave Laksono, the country currently has four submarines, but only one is fully operational.

Last month, an Indonesian submarine sank during a naval exercise, killing all 53 crew members on board. The wreckage of the KRI Nanggala-402, designed in Germany in 1977 and commissioned by the Indonesian Navy in 1981, was later found.

This was decided during a meeting of senior military officials with parliamentarians on Thursday to discuss the submarine sinking and the condition of the military's defense equipment, Dave said in cell phone messages to reporters in the capital Jakarta.

He did not specify which country these submarines would be bought from, nor whether they would be new or used. He said, "The deadline is until 2029."

The target, he said, is depending on the country's financial condition, as the COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the government's budget.

Isn't that ropes is used to tie the ship to the piers? Because the rope connected to the bow area will be tied to the piers close to the stern and the ropes in the stern area will be tied to the piers close to the bow thus the ropes is stored that way for easier and faster use, to prevent the ship moving forward or backward.
