Jens Heider, Colt's Vice President (VP) of Global Military & Law Enforcement Sales, stated that this signing marks an important milestone and affirms a shared commitment to strengthening regional defense capabilities.

Heider added that it builds the foundation for a sustainable industrial partnership in Southeast Asia between Republikorp and Colt.

"We are collaborating on the research and development of next-generation small arms systems, local assembly and production in Indonesia, as well as technology transfer and technical training programs," Heider said in an official statement on Thursday (11/13/2025).
