Persumably just like H225 scheme with airbus.

You will need bigger workibg soace to do both manufacture and assembly. Espacially with ongoing orders
There will be local assembly of course for Indonesian order, the final assembly factory has been built as we can see the physical building structure in Indonesia Aerospace.

If we don have export right, the local assembly and integration will only be for our KF21/IFX order
I hope it doesn't take so long for delivery like panther.

As has been said by Korean media and also discussion between me and senior Indonesian KFX/IFX engineers. The IFX (Indonesian order) will have more local components to be built at home compare to non Indonesian order (KF 21).

It is in the condition where we dont have export license.

Talking about the production and assembly process, I hope the production engineers learn alot from KAI production process efficiency and I hope we have similar machinery that is used in KAI facility

We don't need export license actually consider ilustrious PT DI performance for building aircraft, what we need royalty rights for every planes sold either to the South Korea itself or Indonesia, worth every Penny Indonesia should shoulder during development

Of course any KF 21 sold anywhere in the world will give direct effect on PTDI. 20 % of profit of each sold plane will go to Indonesia. It is basic understanding for some one invest 20 % of the project financially

Is this issue can be solved ?

This push and pull is about the export license for every parts in KFX

I dont know, just wait for the next negotiation. Indonesian demand hasnt been fully accepted, but there is migitation prepared to compensate it ( it will be included in the deal inshaAllah )

For part export is not a question, we can export parts as it has been part of the previous deal as we will become the supply chain of KF 21 production.

The export license that we are talking is the full plane, so we will get more assembling and integration job and possibly get more parts production for any sales made by Indonesian since the plane will be built in Indonesia.

Just like CN 235, when the export order comes from Indonesia, then the plane will be build in Indonesia and the fuselage part being produced will be more than 50 % (for CN 235 case)

But we only pay 20 %, asking for export license won't be easy, because SK will have competitor for international market.

Lets just stop asking for export license, maybe the next poject after this IFX-KFX we can enter international market. I hope we have plan for another fighter project. Either indigenous project or partnering with others.

My connection is on the industry, not Mindef. No I dont know PT TMI.

About KFX, the team is preparing a strategy and planning to continue the program. The program is also discussed in Ratas (Rapat Terbatas) with President to get financial backing.

Guys what is your opinion about Defend ID? Is the appointment of PT Len as its leader the right choice?

Yup, PT LEN has huge profits and its civilians division is also huge. PT LEN which is an electronics company has correlation with all companies since all defense equipments needs electronics equipment.

This holding which is actually more related to SOE Ministry than Mindef will be very good to grow all our SOE defense companies and particularly PT LEN. Electronics is very critical in Today defense equipments

The effort to make it one holding has already been started during Jokowi first term under Rini as SOE Minister

Hope to see locally-built Mbombe MRAP by Pindad
