I was actually thinking about that last night. Economically, politically, foreign relations, everything will improve whoever comes after Erdogan.

But i was thinking, what about socially. In that regard, i think every group suffered in the last 50 years. Kurds suffered in the 90s, Conservatives suffered in 28 Şubat and hardcore secularism. Alevis suffered yor years and still suffereing. Nowadays, seculars and liberals are suffereing. I mean every group literally suffered and i think, although it seems like there is gross polarization in the country, these ceratin groups can look each other with more emphaty because of the collective suffering.

The next adminstration won't go back to old secularist ways, there won't be ban of head scarf, or Kurdish political parties won't be closed down as it had been at the past.

So, i believe the next adminstration will not push away any group in Turkey. This is going to be good.
i partially agree with you
after erdogan turkey can gain many benefits but these benefits may be connected to loose independency
we all saw the s400
and what happened with tank by replacing the german parts with south korean
and also with the drone engines

From a Turkish guy that I was talking to from bodrum he said people keep voting for him because his promises of giving welfare and using inshallah in his speeches
It is not one or two things he does well it is a multitude of things.
You can only count a couple of mistakes by him if you try hard enough.

I argue Turkey is more of a Russia than a Iran Putin and Erdogan often highlight "national values" as a way to deflect from internal political issues I say even if Erdogan leaves which he should Turkey would still be disliked due to "geopolitics"

i am puzzled with obsession about different socio political establishments around the world from western perspective as their own is most perfect one, last year i saw that is far from true by empirical evidences.

My personal Opinion: Turkey is becoming the next Pakistan under Erdogan, a man who believes in religion more than geo-politics. India and Turkey could have had an increase in Trade if Erdogan would not have started to poke India for Kashmir which is a complicated situation to explain.

He is becoming like Imran Khan for whom things which are never gonna happen are top priorities instead of geo-political relations and country’s development.

The only difference Turkey and Pakistan will have is that Turkish people are very nice and lovely while Pakistanis have a huge hatred for anyone who doesn’t belong to their community even if it is a Pakistani and they all radicalised to the core (no intent of disrespecting pakistan).

Again I repeat, it is just my personal opinion.

He's not far off lol.

however the main opposition party the CHP has had the same losing leader for the past 20 years. In england for the most part you lose one election its time to go, this guy is still there.

My own opinion is that the opposition leader has been the biggest asset to erdogan, the day he goes and provided he's replaced with some one whose just standard AK party are going to have big problems.

I think its reasonable to say that a 1/3 of AK party voters don't even like erdogan or AK party, they just see them as the best option out of a bad selection.

But people also tend to forgot that we bought ToT for our attack helicopter from Italy. For our tank South Korea, For our LHD Spain. TAI and TEI makes their revenues from making parts to Airbus and Boeing.

We sometimes, tend to say Europe and US hates us but it's not like that. Do they have fault, yes? Do we have fault too (maybe even more) yes. But we never see our faults but blaming foreigners.

Let's not forget that we were Tier 2 partner in F-35 program. We were independent at that time too.

No majority of the world is heading toward atheism specially Iran. The people are heading toward more right wing and populist policies because of liberalism and leftism but not toward religion or theocracy.

Right wing is on its last legs before cosmopolitanism, liberalism and atheism take over.

Nationalism along with religion is dying.

Why do Iranians hate Islam??

As Muslims when we use religion to oppress im not surprised if people hate our religion.

Religion is suppose to uplift and not oppress. Many examples of our history lets not forget how the Ummayads and the Abbassids executed righteous scholars who spoke out against their oppression.

Many example of other religions being used to oppress. Secularism and liberalism can also be used to oppress people.

Maybe, but the way it shifts that seems like religion itself if you look into that from all angles.

That is the reason why left wing libtards are so butthurted with countries that are having Right Wing majority, so they give hindutva fascist and white supremacist tags to countries for no reason.

We should not let Atheism and Woke leftism takeover the world, it will be a total anarchy like in the USA.

Neither left, nor right extremism is beneficial for any country.

Stop spreading your rubbish and bigotry on here. This thread has nothing to do with Pakistan, and your disgusting comments about the Pakistani people will not be tolerated here.
