Halid Meshaal, one of the political leaders of Hamas, spoke to Mehmet Akif Ersoy from Habertürk for the first time on world television.

I have great respect for Turkey. Türkiye must stop Israel's murders. We must stop the electricity and water cuts. The people of Gaza will not migrate from there. Whatever happens. We expect Turkey and Islamic countries to hold an Islamic Summit.

Turkiye shouldnt fall for their tricks.

We feed potentially 10 million Arabs/Muslims, the same Arab/Muslim world is going around saying were racist and hate them. The same world invited Assad back into the Arab league and couldn't give a shit how it effects Turkiye.

leave them to their fate. The truth is the Isralis are going to crush them, like they have been doing for the past 80 years. Nothing can be done for them, this Hamas assault is another grand failure in the making. The grand talk is normal for arab powers, but the reality is nearly always crushing defeats.

Turkish peacekeepers would switch the western narrative from "Israel has every right to protect itself" to "Turkiye committing genocide in Gaza."

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that they will not comply with Israel's call to evacuate hospitals and will continue their service.

Some interesting summary from this piece, some which echoed my previous writing:

>>The Axis of Resistance, Iran’s Middle Eastern proxy network, is powerful but unsustainable in the long-term.
>>Turkish pressure in Syria threatens Iran’s corridor to the Levantine Basin in the long-term, while Turkish ally Azerbaijan’s victory over Russian-aligned Armenia portends a more assertive Ankara to Iran’s north.
>>Iran therefore must take advantage of the strategic opportunity it now faces.
>> A Gaza operation would be immensely costly for the IDF. It would require somewhere between 30,000 and 50,000 men, likely the majority of them active-duty soldiers — Israel’s population of 9 million is too small to take heavy casualties. The IDF is a unique high-tech conscript force, but it cannot remain fully mobilized indefinitely.
>>The urban warfare alone could take 6 months- a year of operation.
>> Israel may well “win” the war on the ground, but only after six months to a year of combat, and at a cost of thousands of soldiers — and tens of thousands of civilians.

Documents and maps seized after Hamas' Aqsa Flood operation revealed that Hamas members had deep intelligence on the activities of the Israeli army.

▪️They knew where certain troops were and even how long it would take for reinforcements to arrive.
▪️This attack tainted Israel's image of invincibility.

As I've mentioned earlier, urban combat is extremely destructive, especially against a fortified and determined foe. This presents a unique opportunity to significantly weaken Israel's defense force which is composed of a relatively small, yet highly skilled and well-equipped regular army, potentially compelling them to increasingly depend on conscript-based, lower-quality troops over the long term.

A population of only 9 million people (of which only 7 million are Jews) could not sustain perpetual combat no matter how strong you try to portray them. They could only realistically recruit 15% of this number while the rest should stay back and run the economy. That is if Israel wishes to stay a high-income, normal country and certainly not turn into another Syria.

If Hamas's defense of Gaza could act like a sponge, absorbing and exhausting Israel in the south while Hezbollah in the North tried to divert and attrit Israel in a long campaign of perpetual combat in the form of raids, artillery duels, and sabotage which could gradually brings exhaustion of war to Israel's small population. They could shift the course of the conflict, if not now, then in the long run.

Israel could of course try an occupation of Lebanon and wipe out Hezbollah altogether, but something tells me they don't have the manpower for a two-front war and certainly not the number to occupy important cities. And Hezbollah of course could just rebuild in Syria.

I think it's time to bring back the mentality of the long war, wars used to span hundreds of years, not 6 like in WW2. Whatever blow they could achieve now, even if it's not sufficient to bring the country down, they would find it useful for future campaigns, The battle of Manzikert doesn't necessarily meant the fall of the Eastern Roman empire, but the cost incurred that day would be useful many years later.

A writing on a wall in the urban warfare training facility of the Turkish commando school in Egirdir saying:

"A residential area for an untrained units; Hell made of concrete"

Full IDF statement on possible Gaza ground offensive:

IDF forces, backed by an extensive logistical effort and the completion of the reserve mobilization of hundreds of thousands of servants, are preparing to implement a wide range of offensive operative plans, which include, inter alia, a combined and coordinated attack from the air, sea and land.

At the same time, the Ground Forces and the Technology and Logistics Directorate are currently working to prepare IDF forces to expand the fighting. As part of the logistical preparations, the Division established forward logistics centers (MLAN) in order to enable the combat forces to equip themselves quickly and in a manner adapted to their needs.

In recent days, the tools required for combat have been transferred to the concentrations of forces, and at this stage, the various units of the Technology and Logistics Division are working to complete the capability of the vehicles and their equipment with advanced weapons, as needed.

IDF battalions and soldiers are deployed throughout the country and are prepared to increase readiness for the next stages of the war - with an emphasis on significant ground operations.

"Are you ready for the next stage?" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked soldiers on Saturday. "The next stage is coming."
Jerusalem post .
Definitely A strike on Hezbollah is imminent today or tomorrow . I think for Hezbollah it is now or never .
After Gaza war, they have to fight alone . It is better for them to strike right now .

If they're so concerned they should ask the Gulf to cut oil production. Things would unravel pretty quickly.
