Netanyahu wants to wipe out all Palestinians – former Nigerian FM

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to eliminate all Palestinians and move them to Sinai, former Nigerian foreign minister Bolaji Akinyemi told RT in an exclusive interview as Pretoria’s genocide case against Israel continues before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

If anybody expects Iran to liberate Al Quds or even Palestine itself.

Are dreaming in delusions.

In history we never saw Persians pick up a fight against the Crusaders while the Fatimid Caliphate allied with the Crusaders against the Seljuks, Ayyubids and the Zengids.

They wont do shit just like in the past. Dont be fooled by those Ayatollahs.

Lol... Russia's S-400 / S-300 network, supported by Pantsir's and older systems have repeatedly failed in Crimea to to intercept SCALP-EG / Storm Shadow. Infact, S-400 / S-300 systems themselves have proven incapable of saving even themselves when overwhelmed by a combination of Ukrainian launched cruise missiles and ADM-160 MALD. Russia has a dense network of air defenses in Crimea and they've been overwhelmed by as little as 10-12 well planned missiles at one time.

Are you going to sit here and try to tell me that if the U.S. launched a combination of 50+ TLAM / JASSM / LRASM, supported by MALD from destroyers, submarines and a variety of strike aircraft, at a significant Iranian military installation, that enough wouldn't get through to severely damage / destroyed that base / facility / infrastructure? A concentrated barrage of missiles launched in the Persian Gulf against Iranian coastal target(s) would surely get through Iran's coastal SAM network. Of course some would be intercepted, but many would find their target(s)... People vastly overrated the Russian network in in Crimea and I think you're doing it again here.

These 'Lol' are getting unnecessarily disrespectful.

And no, I am not overrating Iranian air defence network. Just stating my opinion. They have shown some impressive technologies in recent years. I will assume they will be able to do their job until proven otherwise.

Besides, I am yet to see any credible evidence S-400 failed to shoot down storm shadow within its engagement range. IMO, it probably flew under the radar. Which would be same for all air defenses, irrespective of western ones or eastern ones.

However, there are evidences that S-400 in many instances failed to shoot down HIMARS rockets.

US CENTCOM Seizes Iranian Advanced Conventional Weapons Bound for Houthis On 11 January 2024, while conducting a flag verification, U.S. CENTCOM Navy forces conducted a night-time seizure of a dhow conducting illegal transport of advanced lethal aid from Iran to resupply Houthi forces in Yemen as part of the Houthis’ ongoing campaign of attacks against international merchant shipping.

U.S. Navy SEALs operating from USS LEWIS B PULLER (ESB 3), supported by helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), executed a complex boarding of the dhow near the coast of Somalia in international waters of the Arabian Sea, seizing Iranian-made ballistic missile and cruise missiles components. Seized items include propulsion, guidance, and warheads for Houthi medium range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) and anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCMs), as well as air defense associated components. Initial analysis indicates these same weapons have been employed by the Houthis to threaten and attack innocent mariners on international merchant ships transiting in the Red Sea.

This is the first seizure of lethal, Iranian-supplied advanced conventional weapons (ACW) to the Houthis since the beginning of Houthi attacks against merchant ships in November 2023. The interdiction also constitutes the first seizure of advanced Iranian-manufactured ballistic missile and cruise missile components by the U.S. Navy since November 2019. The direct or indirect supply, sale, or transfer of weapons to the Houthis in Yemen violates U.N. Security Resolution 2216 and international law.

Two U.S. Navy SEALs previously reported as lost at sea were directly involved in this operation. “We are conducting an exhaustive search for our missing teammates,” said General Michael Erik Kurilla, USCENTCOM Commander. The dhow was deemed unsafe and sunk by U.S. Navy forces. Disposition of the 14 dhow crewmembers is being determined in accordance with international law.

“It is clear that Iran continues shipment of advanced lethal aid to the Houthis. This is yet another example of how Iran actively sows instability throughout the region in direct violation of U.N Security Resolution 2216 and International law,” said General Michael Erik Kurilla, "We will continue to work with regional and international partners to expose and interdict these efforts, and ultimately to reestablish freedom of navigation.”

They will not have any say in Al-Quds, the three holy cities belongs to Sunna Islam. I'm not a big fan of Iran and their version of Islam either and I'm quite aware how Iranians are basically using Arabs (shia Arabs) as cannon fodder the same way the y employ the fatemiyoun from Afghanistan.

But again, in the face of so called 'Sunni state' inaction, there's only so much protest we can do. When it comes to Sunni state, it's either inaction or outright treason as we can see in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Hamas is IMO, just being pragmatic. Had the communists North Korea supplied them with Weapons in return for some lip service, that doesn't mean that Hamas is suddenly open to the idea of adopting communism and spreading Juche.

My thinking is like this, if the war in Palestine could expand and drag Iran into becoming a real target for U.S missiles, that would be great. As the endgame of such escalation would likely mean the destruction of Iran and the weakening of the U.S in the long run.

One of the biggest geopolitical mistakes of Sunni Arab states in the Middle East in modern time is allowing the US to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam, effectively handing the country to shia collaborators reporting directly to Iran The shia basically took advantage of the invasion, it's time for Sunnis to also take advantage to advance their interests while at the same time weakening Tehran. Just because Israel is the main enemy, doesn't mean that Iran suddenly becomes a friend.

It's a tough dance, but worth the try.

U.S. categorically cannot afford to do a bombing campaign in Iran. That would push Iranians further into the final decision about the nukes, and will afford them the time to do it. If U.S. wants to confront Iran, it can only be a full-on invasion, and would require the clearing of their proxies beforehand, as I've said before elsewhere. Since the clearing of the proxies might be construed as preparation for the main course, this clearing might be done slowly, under other pretenses, and while feigning limited response, to prevent the Iranians from going for the bomb.

Whether these past actions are steps towards this goal is uncertain to me. The scope seems too limited, and the approach too vacillating to provide enough evidence for it. One might say that if the long-term plans are set, this attitude and timid approach would be the perfect front psyop to slowly wear down the proxies without giving away the plan. But in my personal opinion, there's still no consensus concerning U.S. plans for Iran. Certain sides obviously do have long term plans (e.g. the neocons are dead set on regime change via any means possible; they can have a consensus as small, centralized and concordant entities with their decision-making being set through their think tank publications in lockstep), but coordinating an appearance of indecisiveness and discord in the entirety of state dept., pentagon and intelligence circles is impossible when opposing pressure groups are battling it out in their respective media arms.

The publishing of the Epstein files, has been interpreted by some to be a move to pressure those in favor of expanding the battlefront, and the limited Yemen operations as a concession given to them; they would take that concession in the hopes of a domino effect.

I dont think that Iran supports Palestine. Palestinians are Sunni Arabs + Nestorian christians. Hamas debunked Iranian support at the first day, while the shameless IRGC claimed they helped Hamas.

Iran does only lipservice and cares about their own interest and one of those interests are the survival of Israel.

Iran needs Israel and Israel needs Iran. As long as Israel exists, the Ayatollahs can stay in power. If Israel doesnt exist no more, the Iranian people will bring the Ayatollahs down.

The US has 3 big allies in the MENA region: Israel, Saudi-Arabia and Iran. I know that everybody loves the US/Israel-against-Iran Hollywood movie but it's time to wake up.

It's time that Sunni muslims watch beyond the walls and see the big picture here. Iran and Israel are a duo-mechanism and keep eachother in life.

They never ever lifted a finger against eachother or their interests.

Iran opened their airspace for the US and their allies to bomb Iraq in 2003. Did you know this?

While Turkey as a Sunni state closed their airspace and NATO airports in Incirlik.

Iran and Israel are US-allies.

During the Iran-Iraq war between 1980-1989, Israel supplied Iran with weapons (Iran-Contra Affaire).
