I believe Madagascar was also considered. There is no justice in this world but if there was. It should have been carved out of slice upper Austria and southern Bavaria with it's capital at Braunau am Inn. Now that would have been justice served on a platter.

And we all know who was born in Braunau am Inn now don't we?

Honestly modern Israels location is really bad, the geography has nothing to do with todays Isarelis apart from being historicaly jewish place. Most jewish Israelis are European and had no connection to Palestine whatsoever, no wonder the countrys existence alone creates enough friction points.
But it also does not go without saying that Arabs also contributed to this situation and their solutions for the problem were nothing but making their position even worse so far.

If you ever listen to Noam Chomsky who is a Jew himself calls Israel the last European colonial settlement project along with earlier Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Americas.

I hear same thing about Turkey from Greeks, Armenians, Kurds. Also Arabs kill each other in much bigger numbers than Israelis simply it gets 1000 times less attention in media.

Actually the damage to Israel by such events is substantial. Israel is incredibly small country. If you sneezed on one end others would hear you on the other side. Such events although cause nominal number of deaths as @GoatsMilk mentioned more people die on the roads in UK.

However the impact is on perception and safety. Many people will avoid going to Israel and some wealthy Israeli's might even be apt to settle abroad. This does damage Israel in many such ways. Also with growing Arab population in and around it's borders it engenders sense of siege.

Yes you quite correct. I've been of the opinion that the Palestinian way to win is not really about claiming a complete military victory. Its about creating a situation that is so miserable that the Isrealis will either pull back or sit down and sign a mutual agreement.

However, Israel's belief in the "holy lands" is as fanatical as Armenia's belief in a greater Armenia.

As far as the population is concerned, egypt today alone is a 100 million. Its more then doubled in 50 years. When Turkey was formed in 1923 her population was 10 million, today its close to 90 million. Every single nation in the region has seen her population sky rocket. 50 years from now Isreal may end up being 20 million people bordering 300 million arabs. In the long run Isreal isn't sustainable as it is.

From an Israeli perspective its paramount that they have all the regional countries in a state of conflict and tension with each other. If peace comes to comes to the middle east Isreal will be the biggest loser from it.

But it was a crazy mad idea to put Isreal in the centre of the arab world, a mad mad idea. Clearly an idea with imperial implications behind it.

All this jewish talk of trying to compare the Turkish conquest of the Roman empire a thousand years ago and comparing it the Palestinian isreali situation today is pure hogwash.

Also any peace talks always leave me sceptical. I seen how peace talks play out over Cyprus or Karabagh as an example. Muslims don't get a fair court. Peace talks drag out for decades and Muslims achieve nothing from it.

But on a side note the Palestinians have always supported the enemies of the Turks whether it be the greeks, the armenians or the pkk.

If we were behaving on pure reason, the Palestinians are no allies or friends of the Turks.

If IDF cant take out Hamas launching positions what makes them think they can take out HZ launching systems?

Gaza is very small even compared to Lebanon.

Nothing, they are smarter then that and very well aware of it.
Expect brutaliti and fake image of untouchability, they already lost the plot. They have luck that their previous leaders created surrounding comfortable enoug to cope with it.

Outside of TRT world, i can't find any other english speaking news outlet that gives such an outlook. The narrative from nearly every western and eastern based english news outlet push the same narrative, pro Isreal anti-Palestinian. I hope you arabs remember these days.

Apple and oranges comparison. And you know it. This is not thread for it so we will leave it for now. As regards killing that is lame argument. By that measure Europeans have killed other Europeans in greater number then any other people have in history. Some of the killing is not that long ago and is often shortened to double-hoo followed with a number.

But that would not cut any ice with Europeans next time some crazed Muslim does something silly in middle of Paris. "eh guys yee killed each other in 10s of millions, what is 2 more dead"?

I was answering the claim that Israel causing friction points. The friction between the Arabs themselves is much higher.

Moshe Dayan answered it decades ago:

It is not in our hands to prevent the murder of workers and families but it is in our hands to fix a high price for our blood, so high that our enemies will not be willing to pay it.

Indeed. But that has little bearing on the present events playing out in Gaza.

Pity I did not get a chance to interview Moshe Dayan. I would habve asked him did you learn this after Germans killed 6 million of you guys or before. And what price did you "fix" the Germans?

@500 how are the far-right jews right there? I'm more inclined they were the source of this all mess at first (Sheikh Jarrah things).

Far-rights are at rise nowadays, including here in Indonesia. People need to be more chill today instead of angry at each other based on different cultures, traditions and ancestral butt hurts.

Present event will end soon. Wars in Syria Yemen last for decade.

There was no state of Israel during the WW2.
