They destroyed most of Iran's air defences and BM TELs during the 12 day war. Iran simply couldn't replenish its stocks in time and so decision makers decided to finish them off before they could possibly recover.

I guess it's odd that they didn't accomplish this in a single campaign, and waited over half a year to make the next move.

They could have done it the first time if they really wanted, they just want whoever is there to play ball and be a good little puppet. So if threatening the existing one and leaving them defenseless doesnt work they just put the final nail in coffin and place new one

The strikes on Iran involved American BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles, aircraft, drones, and ATACMS ballistic missiles launched from M142 HIMARS launchers. This is untrue. We have footage of Emirati fighters in air at night refueling armed with full A2A loadouts, Qatari fighters flying with their transponders on and written accounts of officials talking about interceptions.

We only have a handful of drones and rockets hitting these countries, because majority of them are intercepted by the fighters and air defence. 5 drones hitting Dubai, 2 rockets hitting Abu Dhabi, 2 drones hitting Bahrain or one rocket hitting Qatar is not proof that they are failing to intercept them; that's not how the math works. Per unofficial estimates for example Iran sent about 150 rockets and 250 drones to UAE. We've seen 10-15 hits at most; that's less than 10% hit rate.

You didn't see Qatari aircraft intercepting Israeli aircraft last year, because they neither had the time to react, nor would the Israelis would allow themselves to be intercepted.

There are many lessons to be learned for Turkey by looking at the state of Iran.

Although, the performance of Iran's ballistic missiles so far have been miserable. I am not mentioning Kaan because by the time we have it in large enough numbers it will be 2036, too late. We should modernize all our F16 and try to get hold of more Eurofighters within the next couple of years. If necessary, we should pay for the right to upgrade their radars.
