They won't give us that much time. Even before the strikes to Iran began, ex prime minister Naftali Bennet said Türkiye is the next. Michael Rubin posted on X: 2026 Iran, 2036 Türkiye. But as I said, they won't wait that much. While we should prepare for such a war like there is no tomorrow, we should pay utmost attention to our language and lower the tone. We should somehow get more integrated to european defence infrastructure, even just for political support. In our preparation we need to focus on those weapons that are effective against aircraft carriers, mainly missiles and stealth drones with large strike capability (Anka 4?). Although, the performance of Iran's ballistic missiles so far have been miserable. I am not mentioning Kaan because by the time we have it in large enough numbers it will be 2036, too late. We should modernize all our F16 and try to get hold of more Eurofighters within the next couple of years. If necessary, we should pay for the right to upgrade their radars. We have only a few years, certainly not 7-8 years.
Liberal democracy can go fuck itself. There are many lessons to be learned for Turkey by looking at the state of Iran.
This is what happens when you let go of pragmatism, run your country and foreign policy on useless chest pumping and ideology. This is what happens when the goverment is so commited to its self destructive ideology that it becomes a international pariah and it allinates so much of its population that it can only remain in power through sadistic brutality it inficts on the public on a regular basis.
If Turkey is ever going to reach its full potential it will reach it through a liberal democracy that repesents the uniqie social and political diversity of this country. So that everyone in Turkey feels like a part of Turkey and works for the betterment of themselves and thus the country as whole.
If Turkey chooses ideology over pragmatism it will spend an another 100 years fighting with it self.
Liberal democracy can go fuck itself.
Look at the liberal democracies in Europe, all toothless and war-weary. When a conflict arises, they seek proximity to countries that might be able to defend them, since the US no longer does (see NATO Steadfast Dart 2026). They literally gave Turkey a blow job, they think Turkey is so great. So please spare us the Western understanding of liberal democracies.
I apologise in advance to everyone for my choice of words, especially during Ramadan, but people need to wake up. This era, especially now, is the time of skills, power and whether you can use them. Liberal democracies may work in times of peace, but in a world that is on fire and about to explode, you need skills and hardliners they know the Game.
I trust Erdoğan and Fidan more than anyone (other Politicans in Turkey) else in Turkey; he knows all the bastards and how they play the game.
Australia is protected, so you don't need to worry, the US/UK are there. China has no impact there.Bro I live in Australia you dont even wanna know that the thought of fighting China in the pacific is terrifying everybody in Australia. Our people are not ready to fight a war.
The only two situation that China would attack Australia, one is Australia submarine attack China ships, or Australia airstrike China.Bro I live in Australia you dont even wanna know that the thought of fighting China in the pacific is terrifying everybody in Australia. The president I'd trust has to be able to separate his personal feelings and likings from what is good for the country. Also has to conceal his true intentions and patiently follow strategic plans.Liberal democracy can go fuck itself.

Are you living in some long lost past?We are children of The Glorious Empire and glorious fathers, I am not going let anyone poke fun on that, never
Interestingly you say that. Are you living in some long lost past?

So now I want to clarify this againArresting any opposition member you see as a threat doesn't help. CHP is now the largest party in Türkiye in terms of voters. Erdoğan's recent arrest spree isn't doing any favors for national unity. If all Turks unite no outside force can play games from to weaken Türkiye from within.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The one thing Israel would fear the most is if Türkiye stops with the Iran style religious rhetroic and fully embraces hardcore Turkish nationalism and Kemalism. All their propaganda will blow up in their faces.
Remember that Türkiye is neither some backwards Islamic theocracy, nor is it a western liberal refugee dumping ground. It is its own thing, with its own unique culture and thousands of years of martial supremacy. That's what makes it threat to any player.
The entire Muslim world is waiting for Turkish leadership. And by that I mean the return to Atatürk's vision. Once that happens, the Zionist-backed, western grown, backwards Islamists who've been rotting the Islamic world from within can be destroyed for good, only then can Israel be defeated.
It's clear that some forces have tried to "Iranify" Türkiye. That has failed. But they keep trying. They will continue to fail. Long live Atatürk.
P.S. ask yourself why UK Muslims ALWAYS attack Atatürk
So now I want to clarify this again
1. The opposition's failure in terms of national achievements
I have lost all respect for the CHP. Its handling of Turkey's military and technological advances is shameful. Just because these developments were accelerated under the AKP government, the CHP has been badmouthing them or openly fighting them for years.
In the past, there was a deep-seated inferiority complex: they seriously claimed that Turkey was incapable of building complex systems such as aeroplanes or modern weapons on its own. I consider this elitist view that only the West is capable of technical progress to be a profound betrayal of its own people. It is the people who, through their will and self-respect, have made this progress possible in the first place – the AKP has merely catalysed this process.
2. Opportunism instead of conviction
Today, in 2026, Turkey has achieved technological independence of around 85%. Only now, when these achievements are deeply rooted in society and have become part of the national identity, is the CHP backtracking and claiming that it was simply "misunderstood". Where has this party been for the last few decades? Why did it not push for this independence when it had the chance? To me, the CHP seems like a party that submits to the West and believes that development can only come about with foreign aid.
3. Corruption vs. competence
Is the AKP corrupt? Very likely. Is the CHP? Almost certainly. But why replace one government with an opposition that not only has the same moral shortcomings, but is also incompetent in terms of national defence and autonomy? The CHP has no historical track record that would justify this claim to power.
4. Realpolitic: Turkey as a regional power
We must remain realistic: Turkey will never be a global superpower due to its geography, demographics and lack of raw materials. This is not a question of incompetence, but of its strategic position. The fact that Turkey often prevails in this global power struggle is a remarkable achievement. Criticism of the AKP's economic missteps is justified, but much of it is also due to the immense external pressure exerted on a country striving for independence.
5. Religion as a strategic tool
The argument that religion inevitably leads to regression (as in Afghanistan or Iran) is false. The US and Israel have long shown that modernity, technology and religion can coexist.
Turkey today uses religion as a foreign policy tool ("soft power") to forge alliances with countries such as Pakistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This is purely a survival strategy. Since the West and NATO have often let us down in the past, and Europe tends to side with Greece in the Aegean conflict, Turkey must go its own way to secure itself after the war in Ukraine. This is not about pure ideology, but about National Security.
Kemalism is a dead end; it is only politically compatible with the West, and since the West has betrayed Turkey more than once, it must find a new identity and ideology. This is called Technocracy + Neo-Ottomanism, which is the future of Turkey. It must act as a hub between states, as a bridge state in the areas of Energy, Trade Networks, Technology and Religion (bonding). If you have network power, you can also make things happen, both in the Europe, Middle and Far East, in Africa and in the Caucasus. To do this, you have to be a security provider and not a security taker. Kemalism sought to remain non-interfering, but this turned Turkey into an object rather than an actor.
Precisely, Kemalism only reacts... but reacting is not enough today. They reacted to Cyprus, they reacted to arms embargoes because of Cyprus from USA, they reacted to the Aegean with Casus Belli.Clarify what? You're veering off-topic, repeating the same lies that Islamists have been spitting out for years. You say CHP hasn't done anything for the defence industry, well no shit buddy, they haven't been in power for decades. The defence industry is the product of the old education system and was built by Kemalists.
You say that Kemalists don't ever want to interfere outside the border, yet you're completely fine with letting in millions of refugees and making peace with PKK. You also completely ignore the fact that Kemalists interfered countless times in Iraq, clashed with Greeks over the Aegean and also liberated northern Cyprus.
I can make countless points against your post, but I don't want to make this post about parties and politics.
All I want to say is that trying to shove religion down your own people's throats, degrading your education system by forcing religious narratives and causing a massive brain drain whilst your at it ONLY benefits Israel.
Precisely, Kemalism only reacts... but reacting is not enough today. They reacted to Cyprus, they reacted to arms embargoes by Cyprus, they reacted to the Aegean with Casus Belli.
It was always others who went on the offensive.
Israel and the USA have shown quite openly what the difference is between reacting and acting; it's called a pre-emptive strike, and the world responded with neither outrage nor sanctions, because they have the upper hand.
