When I say tiktok i mean all social media (twitter, instagram etc). They are all polluted by anti-Israeli fake content. The easiest way to earn money online nowadays is to post some nonsense against Israel and u get tons of likes and engagements (and its monetized).

We live in the world where lies are rewarded instead of punishment.
Sad, isn't it? Non-Israeli lies. Israeli lies. Suppression of observation of events by independent reporters in Gaza, Iran, Russia etc

Gaza war was reported more than all other wars in 21th century combined. Ironically we have plenty of footages of Hamas torturing and executing Gazans, but don't have a SINGLE such footage by IDF.

Another example of fake news. Thats from 12 day war last year.

Iranian missile hit a building in Bat Yam, killing 12 civilians, including an Ukrainian family with little kids.

It was the biggest "achievement" of Iranian regime in that war.

I am sorry but you are being ridiculous. You do not get reliable or full information about a conflict by limiting access to that conflict to reporters acceptable to one of the belligerents.

Israel strikes Iran natural gas facility in coordination with U.S.

Qatar condemns Israeli targeting of natural gas facilities linked to Iran's South Pars field

Iran issues evacuation orders for energy facilities in Gulf

Iran has issued evacuation orders for five energy facilities in the Gulf.

The IRGC-affiliated news agency Tasnim posted on Telegram an "urgent warning" for citizens and residents near to:

  • The Samref refinery in Saudi Arabia
  • The al-Jubail petrochemical complex and Masaiid Holding Company in Saudi Arabia
  • The al-Hosn gas field in the United Arab Emirates
  • And the Ras Laffan refinery in Qatar

The statement says: "These centres have become direct and legitimate targets and will be targeted in the coming hours.

"Therefore, all citizens, residents, and employees are asked to immediately leave these areas and move to a safe distance without any delay."

So the oil price will keep rising.

First of all there are millions of local reporters. Surely if they noticed anything anti Israeli they would report it all over. On the other hand if they see something anti Hamas they would be quiet, because Hamas will kill them later.

Secondly what reporters can see in Gaza that any other Gazan cant see? Now everyone has camera in his pocket, also Hamas installed million spying cameras around. If they recorded anything bad against Israel it would be immediately all over.

The reason Israel limits foreign reporters is that we can't guarantee their safety. The situation that we have in Gaza only local reporters only harms Israel.

Israel bombs central Beirut, strafes south, east Lebanon, killing over 20

Israel has attacked a building in Bashoura, a neighbourhood in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported, with a blast and smoke rising over the area shortly after Israel issued an evacuation threat for the site.

The attack was part of a deadly wave of Israeli strikes across Lebanon that killed more than 20 people and wounded dozens on Wednesday, according to the country’s Ministry of Public Health, with raids stretching from the capital through southern and eastern parts of the country, a devastating front in the wider United States-Israeli war against Iran embroiling the region.

The deadly toll on journalists in the Gaza war

Over the past 22 months, the war in Gaza has become the most deadly conflict for journalists in history.

Last week, five Palestinian journalists – Hussam al-Masri, Mariam Abu Dagga, Mohammed Salama, Ahmed Abu Aziz and Moaz Abu Taha – were killed in a double strike on Nasser hospital by the Israeli military, bringing the total number of journalists and media workers killed in this conflict since October 2023 to at least 189, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). Other groups put the tally far higher.

Just one week before, another four Al Jazeera journalists and two freelancers were killed by a targeted Israeli strike on their tent outside al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it deliberately targeted the Al Jazeera crew – the correspondent Anas al-Sharif, who had reported on the war since its outset, the reporter Mohammed Qreiqeh, the cameraman Ibrahim Zaher, and Mohammed Noufal, a crew driver and cameraman. The IDF claimed it had evidence that Sharif was a Hamas terrorist.

The CPJ and other organisations say that this claim is part of a pattern of misinformation – along with other cases where slain journalists have been labelled as Hamas fighters or operatives – and is without credibility.

The Israeli military has prevented international journalists from entering and reporting on the war, and has decimated Gaza’s own media community. Under international law, journalists should be protected civilians, yet the CPJ says that Israel is “engaging in the deadliest and most deliberate effort to kill and silence journalists that CPJ has ever documented”.

“Palestinian journalists are being threatened, directly targeted and murdered by Israeli forces, and are arbitrarily detained and tortured in retaliation for their work. By silencing the press – those who document and bear witness – Israel is silencing the war,” the organisation said.

Despite growing global condemnation and concerns over breaches of international law, Israel is continuing its military assault on Gaza and it is likely that more journalists will die as a result.

The Guardian is printing the names of all the Palestinian journalists listed by the CPJ as having died as a result of Israeli military action since October 2023 as part of a day of action in condemnation of the killings and in solidarity with those journalists who remain, reporting on the war in Gaza.

The names on this list not only constitute lost lives, futures and grieving families, but the loss of a generation of journalists killed doing their jobs in the most frightening and devastating of environments and whose bravery and dedication to covering this conflict cannot be replaced.

This list will continue to be updated as more deaths occur. The CPJ list stands at 189. The Gaza Media Center and other Palestinian media groups put the numbers higher, at 238; the UN human rights office puts the figure at 247.

You are still being ridiculous. You are saying that there is no need for events to be reported by independent journalists. There is a need if the world is to know what is happening in a conflict rather than the fragments of the story that suit the belligerents involved.

Correspondents report on conflicts all over the world. It is their job. They choose to put their safety at risk. Your claim that independent journalists are excluded from Gaza by Israel with a view to safeguarding them is spurious and lacks any merit.

@500

Is that true or also fake news?
Btw, is it true that Israel paid 7000$ to every single post from „famous influencers“?
