"President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies. Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine (The relationship remains, as it does with President Zelenskyy), told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea. Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

What a Bull Shit!

BREAKING: China directly rejects Trump's latest Truth Social claim that Xi told him China would not sell weapons to Iran under any circumstances, saying "as a comprehensive strategic partner, China strongly supports Iran in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and national dignity."

Pakistan is said to be exploring a path towards a resumption of stalled US-Iran talks to end their nearly five-month-old war, following a push initiated by China.

The development came as US missiles struck targets across Iran on Friday after President Donald Trump vowed “major military punishment” for Tehran and its Houthi allies in Yemen for extending the Middle East war to a second major shipping chokepoint, the mouth of the Red Sea.

Trump says Iran has "not suffered enough yet."

What does that actually mean?

I taught U.S. Air Force officers what happens when a modern city's electricity disappears For Tehran, ten million people, the answer is catastrophic—and it would likely fuel retaliation, not surrender

The Titanic of U.S. diplomacy is hitting the Iran iceberg

Trump's MoU diplomacy was a "wicked escalation trap"—trying to buy off a regime with $12B when power, not cash, is Iran’s goal

With the truce broken, shipping choked, Washington faces 1 choice to avoid major war: real concessions.

BREAKING: Trump has cancelled plans to sharply escalate the war on Iran over concerns that Iranian attacks could dangerously drain the Pentagon's already diminished stockpile of Patriot antimissile interceptors and other air defense munitions in the Middle East close to zero, per NYT.

The Pentagon has used more than 1,200 Patriot interceptors in the war at more than $4M each, with cheap Iranian drones and ballistic missiles depleting the US inventory. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine privately cautioned that resuming major combat operations would fully deplete interceptors available to US Central Command.

A senior US official adds that continued strikes have had "the opposite effect of what is intended, keeping Iran cohesive and allowing Iranian leaders to focus attention on an external threat."

US military commanders are deliberately letting some Iranian missiles and drones through their air defenses to conserve dwindling interceptor stocks. With Iran having fired nearly 9,000 projectiles since the war began, commanders now only engage threats headed for US troops — accepting hits on runways, radars, and fuel depots to preserve Patriots, THAADs, and SM-series interceptors that take years to replace.
