Wearing of headscarves, burqas and preaching clothes is banned in Kyrgyzstan. The law also bans the establishment of political parties based on religion, the use of religious elements in election campaigns, and members of parliament working as clergy.

Similar things are happening across all Central Asian countries. They're all getting repulsed by AKP.

These Turkic countries in Central Asia are worthless slaves. They keep back-stabbing Turkiye's effort for closer integration. They are undeserving of statehood.

Worthless slaves?

You know who's really fitting of that title? Women in Afghanistan (no disrespect to them, I feel bad for them all)

Former Soviet-era leaders are destroying their countries.

The same bans were enforced in Turkey for many years. We wasted our time and energy for nothing. Without religious freedom, the development of a country and society is not possible.

Why do you bring Afghanistan into this discussion. talking about countries, yours doesn't exists - just like the future of these Central Asian puppets if they don't get their act together.

Tell that to China.
China's success doesn't change anything. China's system is built on attracting foreign investors and manufacturing. Moreover, most of the Chinese people are already atheists. Today, no one can say that there is no religious freedom in China.

Religion is not the basis for developing a country in these modern times. The basis for a nations development is it's human resources. Giving them the freedom to study and achieve greater heights are what drives the country forward.

Backwards thinking Manchauvenistic tendencies are all rooted in religion. Show me one religion where the woman's word is law ?

I congratulate our turkic brothers for prioritising "secularity". and let religion be a privat matter.

Yeah idk, Kazakhstan is doing pretty damn well. For being landlocked nations surrounded by less than ideal neighbors, the Turkic nations in Central Asia aren't doing half bad. Türkmenistan of course is the odd one out.

I'm talking about wasting a country's energy and time on internal conflicts. If granting religious freedom brings peace to the country, it should be given up to a certain limit.
