They should not leave the vehicle.

First of all, whoever decided those quick cuts were necessary should sit on a shell.

Second, this could've been great before drones but everyone and their mums have drones now and they are just going to keep getting better and more numerous. Even in this video, under perfect conditions and obviously with cuts in the video, it took them 30 seconds to get ready to fire, which means we can assume it was even longer irl and I'm not sure that is a time they can afford to wait around.

I can understand that artillery is meant to be cheap and numerous. A more complex fully enclosed system would be far more expensive.

However, we've seen some examples of autoloaded, "shoot and scoot" truck mounted artillery even from small nations. Yet somehow after all these years there's still no equivalent produced by the Turkish defence industry.

This reminds me of how for some reason a lot of our land vehicles are offered with foreign turrets when it comes to larger caliber cannons.

It must be something to do with decision makers in the land forces.
