Greek Leopard 2A4 tanks were equipped with Mangal protection. A military parade was held in Greece to commemorate Ohi Day, another anniversary of the beginning of the struggle against Nazism and fascist occupation. At the military parade in Thessaloniki, a Greek Leopard 2A4 tank equipped with Mangal protection for protection against drones was spotted for the first time. This is the first time this type of protection has been used by the Russian army. The Greek version has a relatively simple protection system, protecting the tank only from munitions dropped from above. The Greek army remains one of the largest operators of the German-made Leopard 2A4 tanks. Greece has over 180 Leopard 2A4 tanks in service.
