Wagner is alteady setting up Russian airforce bases and Russian navy bases that will be there for the next century.

The Russians are officialy not there but had a free pass because Trump didnt give a fck, if Biden decides he doesnt want Russians merc´s in Libya he will simpy get rid of them and there wouldnt be much the Russians could do.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows they are setting up bases. If offical RUAF activity starts there Biden can't do jackshit. Attacking official Russian bases would be a declaration of war.

Ruskies better hurry up and finish so NATO can be spread further trying to deal with them in Syria, and now Libya. If Putin had helped Gaddafi we wouldn't be in this hellhole situation.

Ottomans
All those European countries are weak shadows of themselves 100 years ago, and Iran is a nation who's leadership is at an almost completely opposite viewpoint than its people. Iran will never be as powerful as Turkey can be imo. Turkey is the most likely to be an imperialist power in the MENA.

Americans and Europeans are done for, their populations are being replaced with Hispanics and Middle Easterners. Doesn't America have bases in Turkey lol?

Russia can stay in Libya, hell lets get the Chinese there as well. They are both too far geographically to be as powerful as Turkey can be if allowed. They can distract NATO and allow them to lose power among the Middle East.

The next hundred years are for those with young populations, not those with old populations.

As long as Arab monarchies survive and the rest of the Arab world can burn down :D .

In part because of refugees, only problem is they aren't contributing anything.

Your population is still a lot older than developing countries like Egypt, and Iraq. Egypt is the most likely to be successful after Turkey unless a political fuckup messes the economy up. I hope the two countries can be closer, in fact I hope the whole region becomes closer except Iran.

Eventually they will both lose power as their population gets older and more developed and it will allow a new age of prosperity if everything goes right. It is a cycle of whose in power for a century, this century is the Chinese but who knows whose century is next.

It is inevitable that a more powerful country will be in a weaker countries territory, look at US bases in Turkey. It is about balancing that and pitting them against eachother thereby making them both weaker.

Arab world is not ready for Democracy, they will vote for a camel if it meant they gain 100 dollars. Maybe once education, and financial levels increase but right now they are too unstable.

Damn, so its true that Turcophobia is still deeply rooted over there, i mean i can understand Greeks and Armenians since different religions etc. but you guys have a absolute irrational anxiety.

We Turks dont want any union or share any state/empire with Arabs you can be sure about that, thought im pretty sure Turkey will continue to protect its interests and national security as long as Arabs states are not capable of bringing law and order into their own countries and continue being used as a playground of foreign powers.

It depends how you define Law and Order, even with Sisi providing a relatively stable country Erdo was still trying to overthrow him and install an MB leader. Turkey want's leaders that toes its line in all of the countries of the Arab World and would rather have anarchy than a country against it.

The governmental system Turkey is under is not universal, it can't be applied everywhere when Turkey is far ahead of the Arab world socially. You can't expect the Arab world to not elect a sheikh's donkey as leader because he told them the donkey is holy.

All those European countries are still practicing imperial and colonial ideals and ambitions across Africa. The LNA and Haftar are LITERALLY imperial games being played by Europe, UAE, Egypt.

Meanwhile here's Turkey, stepping in to help the then legitimate government of Libya repel this latest imperial attack on an Arab Muslim nation.

Everybody is imperialist in this world, nobody is in the right it is all in the eye of the beholder. You're view is how your government sees the situation. Turkey in reality is trying to establish a foothold in North Africa and gain a goverment that supports their views. Everybody is vying for gains, Turkey isn't really trying to defend an "Arab Muslim" nation for no reason, everything has a public and private face.

Everybody is looking to get something from the situation Turkey included.

Do Americans or Europeans do any different?
They have always been installing dictators in their favor in Arabic countries.

I'd like to point out how we're bickering internally MENA rulers fear the comming of Ottoman. Personally I doubt it's going to happen. But the MENA who backstabbed the then rulers are having anxiety, fair enough. We call that a Trauma.

Meanwhile China is expanding its influence and West is on the downfall. The alliance consists of nation that can't cooperate in peace times because of their imperial background and doctrins etc. Let's not forget that Turkey a young republic from 1923 didn't colonize any nation ever since the downfall of the Ottoman (who was actually declining badly way before that year). While the western nations did pretty much own MENA and did nice things like killing, torturing, destroying you get the point.

I don't think any of the MENA countries are as such against Turkey, least of all Libya imo. But the rulers are afraid of democracy and RTE obvious support and condemnation. If he had learned to keep his mouth shut and not condone or show public support we'd be having much better relations with MENA countries.

Libya is at a crossroad. Ghaddafi did say that he was the only one able to keep the rabble in line. But the suffering and transition to democracy of sorts is proceeding, Russia will do everything in it's power to divide Libya, already has, but as long as the world recognizes Tripolis rule of all of Libya, the Wagnar and others can only smuggle oil. But if Egypt jumps ship that dream will be reduced, then Sudan might be the new smuggling route.

But the MENA countries are more worried about Turkey than they're worried about Syria being torn to pieces and such, it's inevitable that they'll fall since they can't even seem to agree to help Syria pull it's shit together.

Turkey with 4 mio refugees has a big say in Syria's future, and Jordan and Egypt as well, so those countries should work together ffs! But the past Trauma seems to be getting in the way.

To be fair the UAE was never under Ottoman leadership they were far too weak and insignificant at the time. Only after the advent of oil were they able to be something.

Its a fallacy where you think that most Emirati even want democracy, they went from being dirt poor to being rich in a veru short time period. Its highly unlikely a democratic leader would have done 10% of what was accomplished.

Their source of buying happiness is bound to end in this century, let's see if they spend that money wise to keep on buying the happiness or if one day people will demand their rights.
