Turkey declared to the United Nations its borders. Turkish ships are conducting exploration and drilling in the declared area. This action is far from fantasy and quite real. Ships are there, Greece or anyone can go there and force the Turkish ships out of the area or sink them. I can give the coordinates of the ships to anyone who wants.

We shot down a russian jet while Europeans closing eyes to Ukraine conflict. So if any Emirates' , french, greek's fighter approaches Turkish navtex, We will set this geography on fire.

Let's not get into the particulars of the Greek S300 which was moved to Crete to plaquate Turkey and it wasn't a direct buy

Doesn't having Russian SAMs undermine NATO security? Regardless of how it was acquired.

The double standards are laughable.

It wasn't acquired, it was moved there to keep Turkey happy.....it's curious that you would complain

Endless discussion while Türks have been considered "second class people" for ages.

Turks....but I bet you wouldn't like if Russia said that you're not allowed to buy x weapon system to defend yourself as it would make it harder for them to tear you apart...

Well, it’s going to be interesting to see what will happen. Turkey won’t back down from our EEZ. Erdogan has faced a coup. I doubt Macron has faced anything of the sort, or prison time like Erdogan.

Allowing GC into EU was a mistake. It’s pretty clear. Even Danes know that it was a big mistake.

What I’m trying to say is, when Erdogan knows he’s right on all fronts, he’s not going to back down.

I wonder what would happen if Turkey and France had a skirmish. Erdogan would have proof and get the backing of the people, but what about France ?

You guys are underestimating what harm France can cause to us via EU and France is underestimating what Turkey could do to Greece, Southern Cyprus and French interests in general. Having said that, not one single member state of the EU is going to send its soldiers into the death sea called 'Aegean Sea' in a war scenario. Not one German soldier will die for some Greek islands but all of the member states of the EU will agree to punish Turkey severly in case of any military action.

A perfect recipe for war without winners. Frankly, it's the worst kind of war for all participants.

The best thing would be to turn back to the status quo ante and forget everthing

or

exploit the resources collectively and share the revenue among Greece, Turkey, North and South Cyprus.

The problem is they don't want to share it with us. That EEZ map fron Greeks are going to be supported from EU is you accept ther terms. So what is it going to be, accept that second sevr?

You don't have to declare EEZs to cooperate. It's not a necessity.

You just make a deal that every energy source in the Mediterranean Sea found in disputed areas between Tr and Gr has to be shared between the two without prejudice.
