We have some good and bad news.

Special Forces Artillery Specialist Sergeant Nedim KORKMAZ fell martyr. Three of the terrorists responsible for this are neutralized. May Allah accept his martyrdom!

Special Forces are very busy in Claw-Lock right now. There are rumors of them conducting a special operation in unnamed important area. There is 0 information coming out from TSK and PKK sources right now but we will know more soon.

MIT hit a major blow to the PKK. PKK's so called intelligence chief, code name "Kinda Maras" Fatma Onur is confirmed killed in a MIT strike in Sinjar.

Locals are reporting 4 airstrikes on TSK held Seri Tepe. If this is true then most probably TSK tactically withdrew from there. We know that newly established land roads reached Parasiya and Bazni areas but there was no work for Seri Tepe. There was ongoing operation for the cleansing of a tunnel network at Seri Tepe for some months but unfortunately it looks like the operation was not successful.

With this tempo and the worsening conditions looks like Operation Claw-Lock will not be concluded until the end of the year and we will most likely have to wait for the spring. I hope the Special Forces manage to conclude their operation nice and clean so we know what they did and already taken positions can be fortified and ready for the winter.

No direct hits.

A civilian group consisted of ~10 hunters from the Galala village was hit in this air strike. At least one was killed and more were injured. The place where the civilians were hunting is an active battlefield. There is intense PKK activity in the area and every armed person is considered enemy. I hope such an irresponsible behavior will not happen again, civilians will restrain their movement in active battlefield areas and casualties will be prevented.

Rumors are going on for some time regarding a special operation carried out in the Linik Mountain area. According to the rumors TSK managed to discover a new tunnel network in the area. Special Forces were tasked to clear the tunnel and managed to kill ~10 terrorists including one HVT.

There is a heavy blackout over the special operations of the TSK. For example no information was released regarding a special operation carried out in Gapnerk Mountain in which our SOF neutralized the responsible PKK leader for Metina area together with his companions in a tunnel network.

Together with the special operations also consolidation activities are going on in the Linik Mountain. The new addition is a land road which reached the Mam Resha

8 Grad rockets fell in the vicinity of the Turkish military base in Bashiqa. This is the second day in a row that such attack happens. In the last attack 4 Grad rockets were used. No direct hits were reported in both attacks. Ahrar Al-Iraq Brigade Iranian supported terrorist organization claimed the last attack. Most probably they are the culprits of this one too.

Since the beginning of the century, the Turkmens have been threatened to be exterminated from Kirkuk. Today, the Iraqi government has proven its hostility towards the Turkmen and treats them as stepchildren. I'm asking Turkey and the Turkish World, will you take a concrete stand with the Iraqi Turks?

Unfortunately when it comes to the Turkmen of Syria and Iraq our political decision makers prefer to:

a) Not support them because they are Shia
b) Support useless thugs posing as Turkmen

This is their fate until the Turkish politicians don't understand their importance. Because of Turkey's strategic mistakes Iran made a great progress at taking Turkmen under their wing in Iraq because they are Shia and Turkmen just didn't have another choice.

We betrayed them. We left them to die and rot like animals on the streets of Turkmen cities in the hands of cold blooded murderers in a failed country while we had a ~700.000 strong Turkish Army ready to smash whatever it needs. I as a Turk am ashamed of this fact.

Because of these same wrong decisions we may see Turkmen brothers killing each other. The Iraqi Government takes very harsh steps against Turkmen nationalist movements. Because of the weak position of our Turkmen brothers are held away (because of us) from important positions in the armed forces, the intelligence and other security forces. Our only powerful figure in the Iraqi Government is the Minister of Defence which is Turkmen from Tal Afar.

The main goal of the creating of the Turkmen Front was to establish the base for social unity between the Turkmen overcoming religious differences and unifying them around their blood link.

Now Turkmen part of Hashdi Shaabi may be tasked to carry out operations against their nationalist brothers behind Ersat Salihi if situation in Kirkuk deteriorates.

We first decided to leave them to Saddam, then we left them to ISIS and now our Turkmen brothers are being cornered between the Arabs and the Kurds.

While Turkmen were having trouble with finding a leader for so long they found Ersat Salihi and what have we done? We betrayed him so a Muslim Brotherhood fool can take his place and our enemies can use this fact and strengthen their position even more, infiltrate other Turkmen movements and strengthening them against us. While we gave the Peshmerga tons of weapons and training we gave our Turkmen brothers? Nothing! Maybe the last sentence explains everything?

Turkmen are infront of a crisis in Kirkuk and I hope Allah helps them because their second homeland will most probably not. If we only had the chance to chat for a little with Barzani so we can learn the real extend of this betrayal. I am really ashamed. It is even hard for me to talk about it. Pure shame.

We should be helping them too, considering Iraqi Turkmen are our closest brethren in the region after Iranian Azerbaijanis (not saying the rest don't count but in terms of historical and linguistic connection there's a scale).

Not surprised by Iranian shenanigans though. They are trying to undermine relatively decent relations between Turkey and KRG by using pressure points like the Turkmen people. A cunning leader would hit them back in kind.

Iraqi Turkmens are 50/50 Sunni and Shia.

Majority are not Shia and the Majority are not Sunni either.

We wasted our time trying to respect Iraq and Syria's territorial integrity.

Then put some useless idiots like you said the MB lackey.

Unfortunately we had a bad luck. During an inspection of an already clear cave Infantry Commando Major Mehmet DUMAN fell martyr due to IED explosion.

1670277899987.png

The mystery of the Parasiya attack in which 3 soldiers were martyred and how the terrorists managed to attack our outpost from the back starts to be uncovered.

In the attack of Seri Tepe on the 26th November 4 terrorists were neutralized. Three were killed and one captured. The captured terrorist was in a solely civilian clothing.

In the attack of Parasiya where 3 soldiers were martyred on the 27th November also some terrorists were in a civilian clothing.

The following is analysis of the last two big attacks.

On November 25, November 26, the terrorist organization PKK attacked Seri Tepe (marked with 1) and Mount Parasiya (marked 2), where the TSK is stationed in the Claw-Lock area.
1670460069934.png

As a result of the attack on the Seri Tepe, 3 of our soldiers were martyred. In the clash 3 terrorists were killed at Seri Tepe and 1 terrorist who wanted to attack another point close to the point where our soldiers were martyred were neutralized.

As a result of the attack on Parasiya Mountain, 3 of our soldiers were martyred. 3 terrorists were neutralized as a result of advancing further in our positions, instead of retreating quickly (as they always do). They continued the harassment fire for several hours after the clash.

Right after the Parasiya attack, Hulusi Akar left the President Erdogan's program and went to Ankara to the HQ of the Land Forces Command. The tension and anger on Akar's face are very clear.
1670460304671.png

In Hulusi Akar's statement one day after the incident, the emphasis was on civilians twice. “We take every precaution to prevent harm to civilians and innocent people, and we show sensitivity that no army has ever shown. "

Another detail in the same statement is Akar's message to those in Iraq. In addition, he wrote Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood literature. "The end of terrorists will not only benefit us but also neighboring and brotherly countries. This needs to be understood. Not only we, but also neighboring countries will be saved."

After these two attacks for two days in a row and the Parasiya attack in which a couple of large terrorist groups took participation was Akar actually angry at the local force and the people? Let's see what we got.

The body of one of the terrorists, who was neutralized while attacking Seri on 25 November, was found during Search/Destroy activities. The terrorist is completely civilian...

Diyar Solmaz, code-named Amed Avesta, who was neutralized in the Parasiya attack on November 26. The commander of the terrorist team that carried out the attack. He is in civilian clothing too. Do not forget this him as we will mention him again in the future.

Now let's put these two attacks aside and talk about Gara. Gara is now the PKK's most important camp site. Mountainous, forested place, without civilians living there. Ideal for the PKK. It is this camp site that feeds the terrorists in Zap.
1670460770759.png

But there is a problem for the PKK. There is no direct connection between Gara and Zap. There are districts, towns and villages with very high populations. These areas are under Peshmerga control.

Let's go back to the first day of the operation months ago. When the PKK terrorists were alerted by the start of the operation, they hid on a hill with night vision devices and opened fire on the TSK helicopters passing by.

As seen in the video, the terrorists in the Gara line descend from the hill and come near the villages and open fire on the helicopters that are conduction an air assault operation to land on Linik Mountain.

Here is the important detail. Since the terrorists knew that the TSK would evade possible fire and pass from Tepe Bahar, they came to the villages on the Gara line and set up an ambush.

So the terrorists can come this far whenever they want. As they opened fire from the bottom of the village, they also have trade with these villagers and some Peshmergas.

It is assumed that TSK had information that a group of terrorists went from Gara to Tepe Bahar before the Parasiya attack. Because on November 24, several airstrikes were carried out to the south of Tepe Bahar. Most likely, the incoming group was targeted.

It is unlikely that more than 10 terrorists will walk ~ 10km from Gara to Tepe Bahar or other PKK camp sites in Metina, and this will not be seen by the Peshmerga and the villagers.

Here, the Peshmerga and the villagers have no obligation to Turkiye, but the PKK uses the TSK sensitivity to civilians by using civilian and Peshmerga areas. Here, the crime of the local people and forces is to allow the PKK to use this sensitivity.

Again, according to allegations from some TSK personnel, local people and Peshmerga helped the PKK in return for money and other things before and during the attack.

Long story short. The only possibility of the PKK's presence in Zap is to send regular support from Gara to Zap. As the locals continue to shield the PKK, naturally there will be a relaxation in the civilian targeting sensitivity of the TSK.

It is for sure that Gara is much more important now, that they will continue to send support from Gara to Zap and that this is unlikely without cooperation. Let's see what action the TSK will try to take now.

Warplanes struck PKK tunnels in Tepe Bahar today.

Clams that TSK retreated from Seri Tepe are proven false or at least partially false. According to the last satellite pictures TSK only withdrew from the position on the eastern side of Seri where attacks were happening but still maintains its outpost on the western side.

So the newest version of the map looks like this. Red dots are the 7 newly reported tunnel clashes lately.

1670462221616.png

Unfortunately the bodies of three martyrs are still in the tunnels of Zap.

PKK is using this opportunity for propaganda and states that they try to hand over the body of one of our martyrs to his family while the body of our martyr is in a tunnel where one of the exit is a cliff (suicide) and the other exit is held by our soldiers. Handing over the body is impossible but PKK tries to present itself like an angel in a way that only PKK can manage.

The second of our martyrs is in the tunnel on the Parasiya-Bazni (1) line. Terrorists in the tunnel have no escape route. They will either die or surrender.

Our third martyr is in Deyri/Matin mountain (2). Special Forces maintains its positions in the tunnel. Hopefully, we will reach the bodies of our martyrs as soon as possible.

In the scope of the Claw-Lock operation, 506 terrorists are neutralized, 600(yes six hundred) caves and tunnels are destroyed and over 2000 IEDs are defused.
Operations slowed down due to winter conditions.
