The Minsk Group chairs, the United States, Russia and France, are supplying weapons to Armenia in the ongoing armed conflict with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said, slamming the Armenian government for breaching a ceasefire over the weekend.

US has 24 bases in Syria. They are going to be using those bases to defacto rip Syria apart. Use those bases to protect the area YPG is holding mainly towards Turkey.

I wonder if TSK has been cleaning up in Idlib, getting rid of the rogue elements is priority, but once those elements are gone or reduced to nothing withdrawing forward posts would make sense.

Especially if the Idlib defense line is secured, no need to have forward posts that can be targetted.

Let's see what happens.

One good thing it seems is that Turks didn't let them encroach further towards the M4. There was some agreement at the time of 6km past the M4, but details were vague.
Also there was recent news of a base or bases being set up in south Idlib, so basically these observation post have been replaced with bases in Turkish held Idlib.
I just pray for some sort of peace in Idlib now especially with winter coming. Remember last years frozen to death children was so sad.

Only problem is with Russian sporadic airstrikes, which seem to encourage the Assadists. These need to be brought to an end one way or another. Better air defences will be a great help. Once they are in place it may make some deterrence with Russian jets. I think the Syrians have given up with current capabilities.

There is no point to have those (surrounded) observations posts inside enemy held territory. They are nothing but easy targets if the situation escalates so I see no point to put our soldiers in potential danger.

• In the face of increasing violence of the Assad regime's shelling; now it seems Turkey has created a new defense belt in the last 1,5 month. Turkey is now literally (despite Russia's demand) implement their own security design and seems to make Idlib a safe area for civilians.

• It is understood from the field that Russia insistently links the situation in Idlib with Libya, the Mediterranean or, lately Karabakh, and paralyze the solution with its demands. Therefore, Ankara considering its own interests, it creates a new belt military line for the security of civilians in Idlib, and strengthens it with air defense systems, rocket launchers and heavy weapons that have not been brought before.
• Ankara giving strong message to Russia, that Turkey will not remain silent any attempt to attack by the regime, and any conflict will lead to results that collapse of the regime.
• As a result, the three besieged points in Morek, Sarman and Sir Magar, dont have any military and strategic meaning and importance anymore. This place will always be surrounded by Russia as a trump card against Turkey. So Ankara took this trump card from Moscow.
• Turkey will continue its operations despite of seem to have a break at the moment. *( One of the main factors that stopped the Idlib military operation was the Wuhan Covid outbreak. ) Turkey is trying to complete the taking of the M4 highway and surely it will complete this.

Imagine if Assad signed a treaty with Turkey where temporary autonomy is granted regions that are safe zone. Russia would have to stop screwing around wasting time and spend more effort against YPG. If all the damn US bases are in the north they should focus on the oilfield in the south
