I wished the name of the new operation could be Operation Batty Boy or Operation Fag Bomb.

Because the Alphabet people (LHGBANUSS..) have already started with their protest against the 'murderous and imperalistic' TSK. They are quicker with this Syrian operation than Erdogan.

The PKK/Communists have really a great network and PR in Turkey. We should first clean the domestic rats before we finish the rats in Syria.

It can be cleared easily oif their are no traitors. Replace the majority of teachers in universities and schools and dismiss this scum from the schools. Close NGOs and many so called cultural exchanges. Ofcourse " opposition " would be on the streets tomorrow. All of this consists of slandering, labeling, semantics they have no argument .

30km is really big there is also talks of reaching all the way into Raqqa.

Basically Turkiye controlling 30kms is a good buffer zone while FSA controlling raqqa is a win win for us.

Its complicated. Also 50k troops wont be fighting its there to rotate also send in reinforcements along with supplies. 50k troops does not mean 50k will fight only a certain number.

Lavrov is coming to Ankara with a group of experts to talk about the operation. Rumours says Iran is also sending a group.

Experts? What are they gonna talk about? Are they gonna convince Erdo on why the operation is a bad idea with those "experts" lavrov is bringing with him?

Rumours say they gonna give a green light but first they want guarantees from Turkey that Russian and Iranian interests in Syria will not be harmed.

Iranian militias are in the operation zone, if they dont pull back they will be sandwiched between Turkish troops and Israeli Airforce. They need a route to pull back safely to regime territory.

Russian troops and checkpoints are also in operation zone. Russia doesnt want to drive the YPG fully in the arms of Joe Biden, but they also dont want to lose Turkey.

And then you have Assad, shitting in his pants as a little boy that Iranian and Russian influence will decrease in favour of increasing Turkish/American/Israeli boots.

Very complicated situation.

TAF sent big reinforcements to the Bashika base in Northern Iraq. This is done in case Shia militias try to control the Sinjar area. After losing large areas PKK is also sending reinforcements from Syria to Iraq.
TAF also sent a 100+ vehicle military convoy to Syria.

Phase I of the operation Tal Rifat and Manbij
Phase II of the operation Ain Al Arab and Ain Issa.
Tell Tamr is also a separate target.

Armed forces are ready waiting for the order of the president.

BTW artillery shelling continues TAF hit the Al Ghazali south of Ain Issa.

Pro tip: don't annouce intentions for an operation without swiftly following through.

Obviously, the announcement was made for political reasons but whenever this operation does take place it will be quite bloody.

1. YPG/PKK 2. Syrian Regime 3. Pro-Iranian militias 4. Russians --> All have sent reinforcements to Tal Rifaat.

Although preparations are being made I have a feeling that Lavrov's meeting will result in the Syrian Regime replacing YPG control over Tal Rifaat - and that any operation will be quite underwhelming.

There are rumours circulating that the Russians are trying to pursuade Turkey to capture Kobane, but its not currently on the agenda given US pressure.

Honestly, if that is the case then this operation is useless
What is the use of fighting the YPG when it will end up in Assad's hands in the end? YPG is like a parasite; they dont care what type of host they live in as long as they are able to survive
If Turkey fights in Tel Rifat, it should ensure that both the Free Syrian army ajd the Turkish flag are waving high within the city or it will be a waste of money and resources

SNA getting Tal Rifat would be to close for comfort for SAA and Russia, because of the proximity to Aleppo.

We can deal better with the SAA and there are no constant attacks, especially not against Turkish positions usually along the line of contact with the SAA.

If a deal can be reached, that really expels the YPG presence for real this time, that would be a good compromise without any bloodshed.

This flag switch wont work any longer lel, that was years ago. I feel like u all are very new to this conflict and didnt really follow it troughout the years, could that be? The SAA,Russia and the Persians are arming the PKK in Tel Rifat btw. That whole area needs to be cleansed and once its cleansed u can make it assad clear that if he continues to fool around, then aleppo will be re-added to rebel territory, now is the time to have an iron fist, especially as it turns out that assads primary backers are trash.

That would be amazing and im sure its just a matter of time now.

AK party by playing these silly games basically invites the same problems over and over again. Russia revealed herself to be a clown army, its time to go in and smash them and if Assad wants to get involved then we remove him too.

Russians should be made aware that Turkey will not play these games anymore and if they turn it into a war, that we will not only move on them in syria but elsewhere too.
