They will also learn during and after the attack...
The US will withdraw from Syria. Russia will take over the guardianship of PKK/YPG.
Official? The US will withdraw from Syria. Russia will take over the guardianship of PKK/YPG.
No, but their posturing smells like a withdrawal. They are emptying some of their bases.Official?
Failure of Rojava
They touted themselves as some sort of leftist utopia only to be puppets of the USA and Russia.
While their deluded supporters hail them as anti imperialists.
Rojava, The World's Newest Democratic Experiment
Rojava, or the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), is a political entity in northeastern Syria formed around the principles of direct democracy, autonomy, and women's liberation. Born in the shadow of the brutal Syrian civil war, a multiethnic and polyreligious movement is building a new society that works for all, firmly rooted in ecological concern and a desire to build alternatives to capitalism and the nation-state.
We have to still be wary of any move to strengthen US presence. Remember when Trumps decision to pull out was reverted to relocating. Though they ended up moving some bases from Iraq.

Also we have to be wary of the Russian bear.
Not before we've dealt with the refugee issue in Turkey. If we pull out too soon the refugee issue will just deteriorate. Russia doesn't care since flooding EU with them is best solution for dissolving EU.If the US pulls out, we can pull out too. Russians are going to crush the YPG.
They can see that YPG is an American puppet. They aren't stupid.
Our continued presence might trigger them to support YPG though, because naturally, we're a bigger threat.

Let's just say Belarus has shown a bit of what could be done.
That would be pretty naive...If the US pulls out, we can pull out too. Russians are going to crush the YPG.

If the US pulls out Turkey has to move in ASAP and cut both Sinjar and Duhok from N.Syria.
Why do you think that I'm naive? Local kurds hate the Russians ever since the joint Russo-Turkish patrols. They've been throwing stones, injuring the Russian soldiers, there's a lot of bad blood betwen the two.
If Turkey is removed from the equation there's absolutely no reason for Putin and Assad to let them live. They are only useful as proxies against Turkey.
If Turkey is no longer a threat, they outlive their usefulness.
On the contrary, if Turkey retreats from Syria and they keep attacking Turkey from Syrian soil, they give Turkey a casus belli to go back. Which the Russians would not want. The math is pretty simple. Putin is a smart man.
We get one in a lifetime chance to let them do our job for us
