It is game of great power when they can't directly attack country then they create chaos in neighbors country and then through proper planning they then Push war into the country which they want to destroy. The russians don't have the same power as the americans tho, there is less hesitation to go after the russians then to go after the americans. When the americans leave there will be more opportunities for Turkey imo.
