Assad knows that his army and the IRGC/Hezbo combo can't do wars. its Russian terror bombing and infighting that broke the rebels back. If Russia is to vacate Syria and handed it over to the Iranians, the biggest looser will be assad.

Also he said that russian army already initiate remove all perosonal from Africa like Mali, Ethiopia, Libya also from other abroad countries like Armenia, Georgia- Osetia front .... russian need fresh blood they lost and keep losing to much personals -values very HIGH.

More about the issue is that russian already started partial mobilization in mid of March. Issue is that 80% of Call / Summon papers send for mobilization show that russians did NOT arrived it is total revolt like situation.
So russian army is in Situation that they have to decide what to DO.
Sending military personal to find and bring this people by force may trigger big issue like revolt

That makes more sense. 60,000 is probably referring to the total number that's travelled to Syria throughout the course of the war.

While Korkut is a more traditional CIWS, Göker is designed for emerging threats such as UAVs and loitering munitions. Though it should still be capable of taking down missiles. Any base of ours should use a variety of air defence systems for maximum effect.

it is obvious fact that whole agression of russia on ukraina is opportunity to settle some scores from past in syria but your blow should be decisive and fast executed with long term impact, but question is did you undergo with preparations for such scenario in within military deployment, diplomatic consequences and most importantly are the remaining opposition fractions are ready for reckoning, still lot of opened questions.

Over the years there's been a massive deployment of military vehicles to the border. Trains carrying hundreds of armored vehicles, tanks, MLRS and SPGs. Not to mention the insane amounts of fuel and ammunition trucks sent to the region. We also know that the airforce will have a field day with the use of drones. The military is more than ready.

Iran will never risk a one on one fight with Turkiye with its old antiquated military. Iran has much bigger separatist problem as you have South Azerbaijanis and Kurds who want to break away.
