If its not a cheap PKK trick then it has to be Russia. Its basically to remind erdogan that Russians can escalate in Syria should he decide to do more for Ukraine then he already is. No doubts Turkish military will be pressuring erdogan to provide more gear to Ukraine. yes, even before the war they really couldnt fight a war with Turkiye over northern syria, now its impossible unless they intend to get crushed and humilated. But the Russians are operating thinking erdogan is weak and can be manipulated. They have done this multiple times in the past to him.

When they killed Turkish troops erdogan tried to hide it from the country, the russians then advertised the strike on their national television shows gloating over murdering Turkish troops. And remember they sued the co-ordinates we gave Russia so that their is no mistakes, they intentionally took the co-ordinates and killed Turkish troops. Who were operating under the principle that Russian jets would not target them.

Then once the retaliation came that was destroying assadist forces using a few TB2's and Anka drones, erdogan was begging for a meeting with Putin, who turned round and said he was busy to make erdogan panic more and delay the meeting for a few more days.

The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) neutralized Osman Nuri Ocaklı, codenamed "Yılmaz Behrareş", who was MLKP's so-called Syria custodian and wanted in the red category, in the Aynularab (Kobani) region of Syria.
