A question to those forum members with military knowledge: Defence ministry says they are ready 24/7. Say we send our troups to north Syria against YPG/SDF and Israel sends its jets to bomb them. To what extent our AD systems like Hisar/Korkut etc. can protect our soldiers? Or should we then prefer to attack SDF without crossing the border, hoping that Israel won't attack inside Turkey? But even if that's the case Israel can easily bomb all our proxies there, so it seems to me if Israel is determined to protect SDF, then we cannot do much. How do you think this scenario would evolve?

lol

That is straight declaring war.....

What they will not do, they will play it with proxies like ypg.

Now that is a point of view that can be taken into consideration

Translation:
If Israel keeps provoking Turkey relentlessly, it means they have confidence in the current conjuncture. They are provoking us because they know that we would lose if we entered the war right now. They are trying to force us into war. The issue is that this struggle should take place not at the time Israel wants, but at the time Turkey wants.

This is the strategic patience method that got Iran f*****. At some point you have to draw a line and stick to it.

Keep in mind the MTCR is basically dead anyways and countries started to go passed 500kms, is turkey developing something similar to ATACMs or Iskander to hit airbases assuming you guys are that worried about F-35s?

Essentially, deep division among regional actors keeps Israel strong and many others weak. If the likes of Turkey 🇹🇷, Iran 🇮🇷 and Egypt 🇪🇬 could actually get along well enough to create a powerful military alliance, backed by Hamas, Hezbollah and Syrian based militant groups performing clandestine operations, they could put Israel 🇮🇱 in a really bad situation, in which significant bloodshed would be brought onto the Israeli people and a genuine question would have to be asked in Israel regarding he value of fighting a war of such attrition.

But because there is no viable reality in which the above regional players could jointly mobilize their forces, creating a combined fighting force numbering in the millions, backed by rocket forces, modern fighter jets, and substantial quantities of armor, Israel will simply continue to bully the rest of the region without any real concern to their existence.

We have systems like that bora for tactical and tayfun srbm but not really sure if they would be good for that by the time they would hit isreali fighter jets would be in the sky already. Would be better to use them for secondary strikes first stealth attacks with smaller bombs to damage the runway and be to destroy it

Turkish sources denied that Israel's strikes in Syria targeted Turkish air defense systems or were intended as a message to Ankara.

Turkish military sources stated that Turkish air defense systems were never deployed to the affected area.

Israeli sources continue to be manipulated 24/7 :cautious:

It wasnt Turkish AD systems that were there
It was Assad-era AD systems, predominantly BUK systems, that Turkey repaired for Syria; moreover, new batches of missiles for such AD systems were provided by Turkey to Syria in order to strengthen its army since the SDF has its own arsenal of AD systems which they stole from Assad bases after he fled the country

Israel's message to Turkey was clear: the new Syrian army will be nothing more than a bunch of men carrying AK-47 rifles and riding Toyota pick-up trucks. In other words, Syria must never ever have a decent army as it will be considered as a THREAT to Israel's long term plans for the region

For your information, Turkey did not only repair AD systems for the Syrian army, but also any fighter jets that Turkey manage to salvage after the massive Israeli airstrike on such targets immediately after Assad fled the country.

From my understanding, If Turkey kept on re-arming Syria, even such jets will be susceptible to be targeted as well

There were no misinformation; Israel did hit a massive missile depot just a few kilometers from the Turkish border and this has been proven by the size of the explosion

I see, you explained the situation well, we understand very well that Israel is sending us the essential message when it strikes the Syrian army, but this will not change the fact that we will destroy the PKK along with Israel's dreams.

This is turning into a fatal mistake, leading to the establishment of a force against Israel's aggressive behavior; in a sense, they are preparing their own demise.

Let's call incoming things " Maximus Fabius".
No need to loose the nerves or patience.
Arm the tribes , and let make for the Jewery endless war.
All these issues can be solved, only by the annihilation of the certain factors.
That has been clear to me for some time as is the fact that Jewery land forces are worth f all.
No panicking, no show of discord. Patience and draining the energy. This will take a long long time and it will cost a lot. There will be plenty bad days , before the good once.
Let's make the Jewery existence unbearable.
Let's for begging, make life really uncomfortable for the Jewery in Cyprus.
No kebab , no sale in shops a few bloodied noses etc
Let them f off from there to begin with.

I also heard that Turkey also really loves their UAVs which also gives me more questions if they are making a Geran or Shahed kind of drone. With the obvious advantages.
1. Super cheap to mass produce and overwhelm air defenses with a range long enough with high explosives to destroy airbases that hold F-16s and F-35s.
2. If they want to shoot down F-35s, Turkey could also throw out like 800 of their own Shaheds with turbojet engines with Luneberg lens to have the same RCS as their F-16s overwhelming the Israeli F-35 pilots. Have one of their F-16s in that swarm carrying air to air missiles and also one of them carrying air to ground missiles assuming the F-35s fly back to land and refuel or get re-armed with more missiles.

I dont know why users here think F-35s are completely invincible while there are many ways to destroy them. The thing is Turkey also needs the right tools to perform the job. Also thanks for the missile info so in other words they need to start massive production in 1. Tayfun missiles. 2. long range kamikaze UAVs 3. production of their own domestic aircrafts.

As far as i know we haven't bought any shahed like loitering munitions.
1. while they are easy to produce they wouldn't present a great danger to the israelis as radar systems could identify them as a lesser threat and leave them to cheaper ad like iron beam iron dome etc.
2. We have süper simsek which is made for that with ew payload or rcs enhancer but i doubt that an f35 would get in the firing range of an F16.
3. Best option would be to ground them before they can take off and for that you need deep strike capabilities like anka3 because to see a stealth bomber you need more than just a good aesa radar you need a VHF radar to see and i don't know if they have that as no other nation in the region has stealth.

1.Are those air defenses effective because people stated Israel did a piss poor job, used a high percentage of U.S. SAMs(reason why most SAMs went to Israel then Ukraine). Lets assume Turkey can produce 500 of these drones day and then launched them everyday at Israel during a war. I assure you the iron dome could not produce enough SAMs to constantly get overwhelmed if they have a 100% interception rate. The speed of the laser systems in how much targets they can engage and the less ground radar timing of below the horizon altitude UAVs have yet to be proven for the iron beam. Buildings for its limited range can hide the UAVs.
2. We have süper simsek which is made for that with ew payload or rcs enhancer but i doubt that an f35 would get in the firing range of an F16.
2.With turbo jet engines it means you can overwhelm other countries air force even those using 5th gens. Imagine launching 1000 UAVs a day and each of those have luneberg lens that match a F-16 aircraft. They also have emitters to confuse RWRs and even the F-16s can just operate using RWRs to see how close they are before turning their radars on or using IRST. Those F-16s in the swarm can carry either air to air missiles or air to ground missiles following the swarm.

Turkiye should give the Palestinians kamikaze drones and fpv drones.

Dont be distracted by Syria. Israel is planning to attack Turkiye not in Syria or Turkiye itself which is common belief now

Its North Cyprus. Thats why Israel is working with South Cyprus and Greece.

Turkiye needs to find ways for Israel to be bogged down. I really hope Israel starts taking its greater israel plans forward. Their greater delusions will be the end of them.

Remember guys Enosis, Megali Idea, Russian delusions of bringing their Tsarist/Soviet Empire and Greater Armenia.

Bashar Al Assads government had delusions of taking Hatay we see how that turned out.

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense stated that "reports and allegations that Israel targeted Turkish Armed Forces assets in Syria are unfounded and do not reflect the truth. It is crucial to be vigilant and prudent in the face of fifth-column activities and perception management operations, particularly those recently conducted on social media. It appears that some social media users are being instrumental in these disinformation campaigns, whether consciously or unconsciously. Social media, which is becoming increasingly unregulated, has the potential to become a threat to our survival in the future. Therefore, it is crucial for our people to trust only statements made by official sources."

We have some here in this forum but somehow the mods are not doing their job.
Instead of blaming mods why not use the report button?
Mods, although try to read most posts, may and will miss a number of posts.
It is also up to our good members to keep the forum clean and correct by pressing report button instead of complaining.
We are here a community after all, that try to interchange information with each other as correctly as possible.
