Shabiha and agents of the SDF militia in the Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods are attacking the internal security forces with stones, despite the forces' attempts to communicate through loudspeakers without any use of violence. The SDF is using civilians as human shields.

For those who are confused on what happened in Syria yesterday; particularly in the Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo. 👇

🔺️It all began when the Syrian Armed forces found a meticulously hidden tunnel connecting such neighbourhoods with the SDF-held areas in Deir-Hafir and Raqqa. Immediately, the Syrian Armed forces blew the said tunnel and laid seige to such neighbourhoods and blocked all the roads leading in and out of it

🔺️this lead to civilians in such neighbourhoods becoming increasingly angry and discontent as this means blockage of services etc. As a response, and in order for the PKK ro maintain public order, the PKK began hitting all the Govt-controlled districts near the blocked roads which led to massive civilian and military casualities

🔺️The Syrian Govt started a half-assed response amd started hitting some PKK targets. The SDF then offered that their fighters would leave the neighbourhoods in return for all the roads blocking the SDF/PKK-held neighbourhoods to be reblocked.

🔺️Thus, a ceasefire agreement as made

Conclusion: a third-rate fiasco and a massive tactical win for the SDF.
✔For those who dont know, the SDF already took all their soldiers from the Aleppo neighbourhoods in a similar agreement back in March!
✔The SDF then re-transferred such soldiers back in to PKK-held neighbourhoods in Aleppo through tunnels like the one that the govt destroyed yesterday.
✔When the govt found and blew the tunnel, they used it as an excuse to seige such neighbourhoods in preparation to enter and kick the PKK out in the near future (if an operation were to be conducted)
✔The SDF, fearing such a scenario, attempted an armed attack against areas controlled by the govt to force them to agree to a ceasefire that would break the seige and prevent any public discontent towards the PKK leadership in SDF-controlled areas in Aleppo in return for the retreat of PKK soldiers of Aleppo

What do you think will happen next? Simple, the SDF will re-transfer all the retreating PKK fighters back into the SDF-controlled neighbourhoods through another tunnel that isnt exposed by the Syrian govt; all the while ensuring that they retain a firm ruling grip over SDF-held areas in Aleppo

Such an incident reminded me of Mazloum Abdi's words when he said that dealing with the Syrian army militarily or politically is easy but the problem lies in Turkey and guess what...... the guy is actually right! Never saw such an incompetent army like this one. I thought they had learned from the previous trap set by Israel in Suwaydah but I guess I was wrong

The Sheikh Maqsoud district isn't just any district; think of it like the Çinçin neighborhood in Ankara 20 years ago. The buildings are so close together, the narrow streets akin to a gypsy neighborhood. Security forces will face both civil unrest and ambushes once they enter. Airstrikes will result in civilian casualties, but those civilians support the terrorists. If you enter, you'll suffer heavy military losses. This is an area that needs to be resolved gradually and gradually.

If such rumors are true, then it isnt wrong to say that Al-Sharaa has officially betrayed Turkey
Not only is it a betrayal to Turkey, but also the seeds for a potential rebellion against any future pro-govt Turkey. In other words, blessed by Israel, the US gave the middle finger to Turkey but sugarcoated such betrayal to make it look as if it is in compliance with Turkish terms
This deal will literally provides what the YPG wants the most;i-e, legitimacy and all on Turkey's expense

It is so ironic to the point that I remebered long ago when a US official stated that they were being pressured by Turkey for aiding the YPG even though it is labelled as a terror organisation; thus, in order to solve that, they re¹labelled the YPG as the SDF.
The same is happening rn but rather than getting a rename only, they are also getting legitimacy by being part of the Syrian govt. In other words, if Turkey attacked the PKK in the future, then it wont be labelled as an attack against the YPG but an attack against a sovereign state called Syria that is an ally of the US. Fqing ridiculous

Translation:

According to a report by Syrian Television citing exclusive sources:
🔺️A meeting was held in Damascus between President Ahmed Shara and SDF commander Mazlum Abdi, attended by the U.S. Special Representative for Syria, Tom Barak, and the Commander of U.S. Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper. 🔺️Another meeting took place between the SDF delegation, Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Kasra, and Intelligence Chief Hussein Selame.
🔺️The agreements stipulate that three SDF divisions and several military brigades will be integrated into the Syrian army, distributed across Hasakah, Raqqa, and Deir ez-Zor.
🔺️The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) will be integrated into the Syrian Ministry of Interior’s Internal Security Forces.
🔺️The SDF will retain leadership positions in the divisions and security forces in northern and eastern Syria.
🔺️The Syrian government will appoint officials through mutual agreement, provided they are residents of the region.
🔺️Once the integration is complete, there will no longer be a force called SDF or Asayish, and the forces will bear the names of military units and security forces approved by the Syrian government.
🔺️Abdi and Shara agreed to establish joint committees to implement the integration of military and security forces in the near future.
🔺️The agreement between the two parties was reached under the auspices of the United States.

The greatest f**k you from the SDF to Turkey

The SDF is truly unhinged; they arent afraid of Turkey at all and the way they are toying with the Al-sharaa govt both politically and militarily speaks volumes about the internal strength of the PKK/SDF in Syria thx to US support. Moreover, considering how brazen they are, it is highly likely that the SDF took guarantees from the US that any Turkish intervention wont happen

If you had read it carefully you would have understood the fear but you didnt, did you?

SDF commander Mazlum Abdi:
▪️
The Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, and Hasakah files are linked to the government system in Syria.
▪️
Our withdrawal from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor is out of the question.
▪️
Representatives from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor will participate in upcoming meetings.
▪️
In Damascus, we emphasized the need for a Syrian-Syrian solution (without foreign intervention).

▪️
If Turkey wants the implementation of the agreement made with Damascus, it can support the process.

▪️
Communication channels between us and Turkey continue to remain open.

So,why would he include the last two highlighted parts?
Use your intelligence!!!

I dont see it as fear but the SDF doing diplomacy by showing to the US that they are freedom and diplomacy lovers while the Turks are the radical brutes which will eventually spiral into them declaring independence or gaining some form of autonomy from the HTS-led govt

Moreover, them stating that: "We wont retreat but if Syria wants peace, then these are our terms and If Turkey wants to see Syria in peace then it should follow on our demands and our communication channels are open" is by no means a sign of fear but a sign of arrogance due to them acknowledging that they have stronger cards than Turkey in the US

I didnt post the whole thread in the earlier post, so I deleted it and posted a more detailed version of the SDF proposal in post #7144

The recent events are slowly proving to me that all the power is in the US's hands and whoever sways the US, controls the game. Turkey is slowly being overshadowed rn
