A military parade took place in Poland, which the authorities consider the largest in the country's history. The parade was dedicated to the anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, also known as the "Miracle on the Vistula". About two thousand Polish and NATO military personnel, as well as 200 pieces of military equipment, took part in the parade. 92 helicopters and airplanes took to the skies. The parade included armored personnel carriers, artillery pieces, as well as HIMARS MLRS and Patriot air defense systems. Among the tank equipment were German Leopard 2 tanks, American Abrams and Korean K2 tanks. In 2023, Poland will spend $34 billion on defense, giving four percent of national GDP to military spending. According to this indicator, Poland is ahead of many NATO member countries.
